Unserious firm, inattentive effort and, erroneous advice. My wife and I hired this law firm to represent her in a custody dispute with her ex-husband. The service we received was unsatisfactory, marked by repeated errors in scheduling and communication, inadequate attention to the case, and incorrect legal advice. These issues not only caused unnecessary stress and disruption but also placed us in a weaker legal position. On Thursday, 8/28, my wife was given only a few days’ notice that she needed to appear in court on 9/2. This indicates the firm was not properly monitoring the case. The attorney we retained was unavailable for the 9/2 appearance, and the case was delegated to another attorney who failed to appear in court. For a 9/4 hearing, my wife was told she could appear virtually and that attending in person was “not a big deal.” On the morning of the hearing, she was informed she was required to attend in person, forcing her to rearrange work commitments and causing significant stress. She ultimately had to miss two mornings of work due to the firm’s poor communication. We later learned the hearing did not proceed as the firm had represented. The firm also incorrectly advised us that our daughters could not be compelled to return to their father’s custody if they did not wish to do so. This advice was false, and we are now in litigation over this very issue. We have been billed $3,000 for ten days of supposed work that provided no value, caused harm to our case, and did not reflect a good-faith effort to handle the matter professionally.

Josh, Summer, and Trevor have gone above and beyond to answer all our questions easing our anxieties and worries.
