I cannot recommend Balekian Hayes enough. Every attorney, paralegal, and office staff I interacted with was incredibly kind and professional. I am an educator and firmly believe "knowledge is power". No matter how determined you are to learn it, the court systems can be incredibly confusing and you need knowledgable and caring people to guide you through the process. Emory and Kris both took great care of my complicated case and were patient and thorough with all of my questions. Anytime I use a service of any kind, I desire to work with people who see their career as more than just a job, but an actual passion and calling. As soon as you work with Emory and Kris, you will see it is evident that family law is their passion. Both Kris and Emory have the ability to be absolute bulldogs in the courtroom, yet still somehow manage to be a calm and steady presence for you. It is a true finesse. If you ask them each about their history with law, you will also hear some of the amazing work they have done to give back to the community (which again, confirms my belief that they are each genuinely passionate about what they do). Every single time I called the office, someone answered! Emails also have a very quick turn around. You will quickly learn that everyone at the firm works well as a team and has strong communication, which does wonders for your peace of mind in a stressful situation. One of the best decisions I ever made was hiring Balekian Hayes!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m incredibly grateful to our attorney, Kris Hayes, and felt compelled to share our experience. She fought tirelessly for our family, and I truly can’t thank her enough. As anyone who’s been through a family case involving children knows, the process can be emotionally and mentally draining. Having someone as knowledgeable and experienced as Kris by our side made all the difference. Kris knows the Dallas courtroom inside and out, and it shows. Watching her litigate was nothing short of impressive—she’s always thoroughly prepared, sharp, and composed from start to finish. Kris is tough, professional, and has a no-nonsense approach that I genuinely appreciate. She is a force to be reckoned with, and we were fortunate to have her in our corner.

Kris and her staff were amazing in the way they handled and walked me through every step of my divorce ! Starting with Kris’s knowledge & professionalism was a huge comfort for something so uncomfortable for me. Her entire staff at the firm from her assistant attorney, Emory, to her paralegal, Teresa, all were a phone call away. I would highly recommend them to any friends of mine needing their services.

I’m so thankful for Kris Hayes! Going through the litigation process can be very challenging, emotionally draining and sometimes very scary. But for me having the support of Kris and her team made feel at ease and protected. They had my back during a time I needed help the most and I can’t thank them enough for getting me through such a difficult and challenging time in my life.
