I am an immigration attorney. When I first began practicing immigration law, Attorney Isabel Guzman Barbarin from the Barbarin Law Group guided me out of the goodness of her heart. Isabel is an amazingly knowledgeable, very competent and kind immigration attorney. She pays great attention to detail and USCIS approved the vast majority of cases in which we worked together. In the very few cases that were not approved, circumstances for clients beyond our control affected the outcome. We always worked hard to protect our clients, no matter the outcome. Isabel has great staff, including Angeles whom I worked with directly. Most of all, Isabel practices immigration law out of love for the immigrant community. Isabel is ethical in her representation of clients and reasonable in her fees. I recommend her highly.

I hired them to apply for my husband’s Citizenship and his lawyer made a mistake on his last name, we did not noticed until we got his Certificate of Naturalization and when I email Isabel she had her assistant contact me (not her) to tell me that I needed to pay for a consultation, I told her that it was not a consultation but I had a mistake on the papers that they made and she said that the case was closed and I had to pay for a consultation. I repeated to her that it was about a mistake that THEY MADE. She never answered me. I had to deal directly with Immigration and had to pay the full fees to have a new Certificate and it is taking months. If they were so honest like they claim they would have been responsible for their mistakes not just wash their hands saying the case was closed. I am never using this firm again.

The best immigration lawyer Isabel was a pleasure to work with from the initial consultation until the day my case was approved and green card was in hand. She was always very accessible, responsive, and reliable, and was an extremely knowledgeable resource on timelines, procedures, current immigration laws and what to expect from the process from start to finish. Working with Barbarin Law Group PC has been absolutely phenomenal!!
