After my husband passed away during a work trip I was reassured by the insurance company that they would take care of everything. I had just lost my whole world and at least I wouldn't need to worry about the medical bills. Unfortunately, when me and my daughters returned home to mourn and plan the funeral, I received a letter that the claim had been rejected. I immediately called a lawyer. Not being from the area, I found one but they were ineffective and soon sold my case to another firm. That firm closed it's workmans comp department and after about a year and a half in limbo my case wound up on with another attorney at Barringer Law. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but then I got a call from Maureen. She was the first lawyer who actually reached out to me. Usually it was their assistant, thankfully the same one each time because Charlene always made sure I was at least on the radar every time my file moved. But, already my experience was different. Within a few months, Maureen and her fabulous assistant Charlene were working towards a resolution and things were finally happening. She was an absolute pit bull and not only fought for me, but connected me to every expert we needed to win this case and take care of my children. There was no more argument from the other side once Maureen took over, they eventually determined they needed to settle and I felt like I could breathe again. For almost 2 years I had hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expenses hanging over my head and the pressure of suddenly having to provide the future my husband wanted for his daughter's alone. She took that all away! Maureen made sure I understood every step of the process, she kept me updated through the whole thing, she was with me through every hard moment, every anxiety driving decision. Even when I was losing it, she kept me focused and finally it was done! Just after the 2-year anniversary of losing my husband, the case was finally finished, my children had their future secured and we were able to grieve and celebrate the life of a wonderful father and husband, without a black cloud hanging over me. I am so grateful that by sheer luck and maybe some help from my husband, my file wound up on the desk of the best workmans comp lawyers in the state. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the long hours and dedication you all put into helping my family.
FOR FIRM: After years of fighting for my parents, I can happily say it was a success! Thank you Barringer Law firm for the support and the kindness you showed to my parents. Highly recommend! FOR YNDRIA SANCHEZ: Thank you so much for taking on my parents case, she was very supportive, kind hearted, patience, and has a good sense of humor, got along well with my parents well! She was very Positive/responsible in the work that she put out. very reliable and trusted her. Even though my parents case was delicate and required loads of work, she took it with open arms ready to work! Can't thank her enough!
Would highly not recommend this firm contact is little to none. I don’t even know what my attorney did for me besides take the first plea that they gave seven months later still no contact even after I’ve asked to file motions. And then four hours before sentencing, they give me permission to file my Own motion like gee thanks that helped out a bunch overpaid for something that I think I could’ve done better with no Experience at all and
I filled out their contact form. Nothing. I stopped by the office, Matthew Barringer had no time to meet. I was scheduled an appointment for another day. I came back, paid their fee, was stuck in an office waiting for 50 minutes. Was told he was finishing up a call. After 50 minutes, I grabbed my stuff, asked the receptionist to give me a refund and left. Wasted my time and will see if I get a refund.
I had an interview with the firm at 23rd September. I did mention my situation prior booking my appointment. Even when I arrived and paid for my appointment I had to explain my situation in a form again and had a meeting with a lawyer for about 10 minutes. They couldn’t give me any support rather than which I already mention. Wasted my time and money and energy. What are they even expert for God knows. They deserve 0 star.
