I contacted them to update my mothers will and do a simple transfer of stock. $1000.00 later I had no review and no transfer of stock, even after multiple follow up calls, and only an updated power of attorney form that they had done the original for. no follow up from anyone.

$400 per hour for document all of which had errors. I had to redo most of the documents myself. Chat GPT would have done a better job and saved me thousands.

I worked with Heidi Koeneman and her assistant Joni, and both were incredibly professional and helpful throughout my case. Heidi handled everything with care, and Joni did a great job keeping me informed with updates. They make a great team and really helped ease the process. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the receptionist. Every time I called or visited the office, she had a rude attitude that made the experience frustrating. Good customer service at the front desk really matters, and unfortunately, that was lacking here.

Jana Lange appeared competent and very responsive. She worked the case research 6 weeks ahead of court dates. ahead of court dates, but that’s better than late! Then the x spouse dropped the 2 charges which she required a $5,000 deposit in Sept, petitioner withdrew both cases in Nov and Ms Lange w/d on Nov 15. On this date, we had approx $1,600. Left to be refunded. We thought on the Dec statement, we would receive our refund, but did not. Even though her hourly rate was only quoted at $265/ hr, it was crazy high when she billed. She must read and work slower than our past $375/ hour attorney. I asked the question how much did she charge for emails or phone calls; but she never answered that question in the beginning. Warning: she charged between $16-$53 to answer emails of no more than 3-4 questions. I questioned Jana via email about our retainer fee and the extra fees billed…She charged me for this question and about $400-$500 to speak with our past attorney. In Dec, another issue was filed and she realized she had failed to formally withdraw, which we were charged for again. I called their office numerous times to question the final bill because of her working on the case so early w a couple of double charges. We never met her in person, only by phone, but she always was conscientious and responsive. The billing was our biggest problem. after begging for 3 months, a superior finally reached out to us and did adjust the bill a couple hundred dollars. We had to drive downtown to personally pick up our check after waiting. I understand if someone was ill, but a phone call or email would have been a courtesy after being promised on 3 separate weeks. I would not hire this firm again…believe they are money
