Mr. Brager and Brager Tax Law Group are phenomenal team. If you need legal work on your tax issues contact the office. Dennis Brager has the best knowledge of tax law. He is very responsive and will give you wise and VERY HONEST advice. He is an expert in his field! He explains complicated things very simply and will keep you at ease while working on the issue. I worked with Meredith Vincent and had an excellent experience. She was professional, well-informed, helpful, and competent. I had been trying to attain innocent spouse relief for 18 months! 6 months after my first submission, I was denied innocent spouse relief. I resubmitted to appeal the decision. It took almost an entire year to get an appeals hearing. I was frustrated and upset by the process and worried that I would be responsible for $300K in capital gains taxes that were supposed to be paid by my ex-husband. Meredith prepared an excellent case, and I received full innocent spouse relief. Thank goodness I didn't end up being on the hook for my ex-husband's failure to pay his taxes.

I contacted the Brager Law Firm after having a disappointing and expensive experience with a tax firm in San Francisco.My tax issues weren't incredibly complicated but did have some unique issues that needed addressing. The experience of Dennis Brager and his colleagues were evident from the start. They had creative ideas to move the process forward quickly because I was on a time crunch (the IRS doesn't like to move quickly!) A special shout out to Linette, who has to be the only person to know an arcane bit of tax information for int'l tax credit that would have sunk my filings without including it!
