I hired Kevin Papa to do perform a business valuation of my husband’s company during my divorce. Not only did he completely ruin my case, he had unauthorized discussions with the opposing counsel’s business valuation CPA, John Barrett, regarding the appraisal. Kevin Papa said there was minimal appreciation during the marriage, instead of excepting his outcome of the valuation, I decided to hire a nation wide company Marcum LLP. ,Their ethical standards are very high. Marcum LLP, found that my husband’s business appreciated 1.3 million during our marriage, which is a far cry from Kevin’s findings of 60,000 to 90,000, (during the marriage). I do not recommend using Kevin Papa to perform a business valuation.
