Amazing service! They don’t just help you fill out paperwork—they go above and beyond to help you sort out any messy document situations with care and patience. Their support feels genuinely human, and the follow-up is outstanding. You truly feel their commitment to your case every step of the way. I’m incredibly thankful for their professional and emotional support during such uncertain times. Truly, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
⸻ Today, I want to file a complaint about this place. I scheduled a consultation with a lawyer about my case, and from the beginning, I made it clear that I speak Portuguese, but I also spoke some Spanish and that I understood Spanish perfectly, as they only offer services in Spanish or English. I also submitted all the documents for my case well in advance, even more than necessary, so that the lawyer could already review everything at the scheduled time. My appointment was scheduled for exactly 4:00 PM. My complaint begins with the time. At 3:50 PM, the receptionist called me to collect the remaining balance of the appointment—because when you schedule the appointment, you have to pay part of the fee upfront, and they make it very clear that if you are late or don't show up, you will lose the appointment and the money. Then she called to collect the remaining payment and also asked several questions about my case. I answered them all. At no point did she ask me to repeat anything in Spanish—in other words, she understood me perfectly. I interact with many Spanish-only places, and I was always understood. So, I continued. After finishing my questions, she told me that the lawyer was finishing another appointment and that she would call me as soon as she was available. This was already 4:00 PM, the exact time of my appointment. I said okay, thinking there would be a 10- or 15-minute delay—but surprisingly, the appointment didn't start until 45 minutes later. And when the lawyer walked in, the first thing she asked was: "Do you speak Spanish?" I said, "Yes, I speak a little Spanish, but I understand everything." That's when the disrespect began. She asked if I had the documents to start the process—even though I had already sent them and the receptionist had confirmed everything with me before the appointment. I replied that yes, I did. She said, "No, I need this specific document." I told her, "I already sent it to your email." She waited a moment and asked what the date was on the document—something she should have checked before the consultation. I gave the wrong date, and sarcastically, she said, "Where do you see that date on the document? Because it's not the right date." Then, she read the correct date aloud. Clearly, they were just looking at my documents for the first time during the consultation. So, what's the point of sending them in advance if the lawyer didn't even bother to review them? If the consultation lasts 30 minutes, the least they could do is prepare in advance to save time. But it didn't stop there. At one point, my son—who is autistic and doesn't speak much—tried to ask me for water. And the lawyer rudely said, "I can't hear you, it's too loud." Showing zero empathy. I couldn't even ask all the questions I had prepared. The short time I spoke with her was enough to realize she wasn't someone I'd trust with my case. I wondered if the problem was that I didn't speak fluent English or Spanish. But if the receptionist understood everything I said, why didn't the lawyer make the same effort? The receptionist asked me more questions than the lawyer, who didn't even seem to know my name. And let's talk about the delay—a client can't be late without losing their place and money, but a lawyer can arrive almost an hour late without even apologizing? It's ridiculous. I left that meeting feeling humiliated, dismissed, and disrespected. I had seriously considered hiring them for my case. Now, I don't even think about it anymore. Professionalism is much more than a diploma—it includes empathy, respect, and basic human decency. And, unfortunately, these were lacking from beginning to end. In the end, it’s clear I wasn’t the first — and sadly won’t be the last — to lose money and receive such poor service. A quick look at other reviews shows that my experience was not an isolated case.
This was the best experience that anyone could ever ask for. Everyone in the office was very supportive and helpful. If anyone is interested or looking for legal advice, representation, please reach out to CFI.
I had an excellent experience with this immigration attorney office. From the start, they were highly efficient and demonstrated a deep understanding of our case. While they requested a significant amount of documentation upfront, it was clear that they were thorough and detail-oriented in preparing the submission. Though gathering all the required documents took some time, it was absolutely worth it. Thanks to their meticulous preparation, my wife’s green card was approved just 7 months after submission—a remarkably fast turnaround! I truly believe their attention to detail played a huge role in this quick approval. Highly recommend their services!
I Obdulio Cortes visited Attorney Charlene Seda at her office to get a fiance visa for my girlfriend in the Philippines. I knew it was complicated but with her advice and guidance it was accomplished. It took a Year from February 22- February 23, and my Girlfriend passed every single step the first time. My Girlfriend just passed her medical last week, and the US Embassy interview yesterday January 30, 2024. All the paperwork done was perfect. Maria, the paralegal was Also excellent putting the Case together to make sure it passed the first time. We even had several video phone calls via messenger from the office with my girlfriend to make sure the packet was complete. My girlfriend is coming within 10 days or less. I am very thankful to Atty Charlene and Paralegal Maria. They are the Best!!!!!!! The office is the Best in town A+++++, for immigration paperwork. Look no Further.
