Reviews
Cynthia is a very good lawyer and I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for an honest immigration attorney. She handled my father’s case which was extremely difficult with professionalism and care. Her team always got back to me in a timely manner and were also very well trained. Cynthia is upfront and will tell you what she can and cannot do in our difficult immigration system. I think a lot of people do not understand that all this takes time and tremendous effort. It took 6 long months to take my father out of detention. You have to be patient and understand that this is a process, a long one. She always gave me great advice and helped me every step of the way through a truly difficult time. My dad would not be here if it wasn’t for Cynthia, that I can say with the utmost certainty. All I can say is trust the process and trust the professional you hire to handle your case.
Cynthia and Kimberly were incredibly helpful with my mother’s adjustment of status process. They guided us every step of the way and offered reassurance whenever we needed it, which gave us a great deal of confidence during a stressful time. Cynthia did a wonderful job preparing my mother for her interview and helped ease much of her anxiety. And Kimberly was so patient, always taking the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. We’re so grateful—thank you both so much!
I came in with an open mind and reassurance from the stellar reviews below, but my was Cynthia R. Lopez's services a disappointment. She was late multiple times to my mother's court hearings. She is incredibly hard to get in contact with and once you do, she always seems rushed through her answers. I understand she must be a busy woman, but patience doesn't seem to be a virtue for her. The only people pleasurable enough to talk to are her paralegal team. After a failed parole request submitted by Cynthia and her claim that my only other option was to attempt to start an asylum case for my mother, I decided to discontinue her services. I requested a refund, in my mind I couldn't understand why submitting a parole request, which mostly involved me sending her multiple documents and her filling out papers and typing the front page, would be worth $2000. She denied my request for a refund and claimed I paid for the services I got. To which I ask myself what services exactly? I'm not asking for a full refund, I feel her services don't constitute a month of my salary in the military. To top it all off, when I was speaking with her about a possible refund she had an attitude to which I could best describe as dismissive and offended. I would definitely not recommend this woman to take care of your legal needs, I may be just an outlier, in fact I hope I am considering her near-perfect reviews here, but if you decide to proceed with her services be very careful and ask questions. God knows she doesn't provide a very question friendly environment.
Cynthia is a great lawyer. Her team is very efficient and quick to answer any questions my partner and I had. I highly recommend her.
