Not a good choice for H-1B consultation. It's been a while but I remembered this case so leaving a review. Unfortunately, attorney Ersan provided us with outright wrong information on an employment-based case for my wife, and then told us that "H-1B is not her expertise area." This was surprising to us because when we were initially making our appointment, we've let Attorney Ersan know that our case was relating to the H-1B visas. Attorney Ersan boosted that she had 29 years of experience, and never mentioned that she was not an expert on H-1B visas. The information was relating to the cap-exempt H-1B visas. Attorney Ersan thought cap-exempt H-1B visas could be filed only in Spring along with other H-1B petitions while cap-exempt H-1B petitions can be filed at any time. Given that our questions were relating to travel, the accuracy of the provided information was crucial to us. Information on the timing of the petition-filing would allow us to determine our travel dates. After we let Attorney Ersan know about our disappointment with the consultation via e-mail, Attorney Ersan did not even apologize, and just told us that nonchalant "It's true, since H1B is not my area of ​​expertise, I may not have known that cap exemption was not included in this process." Please remember that Attorney Ersan was also boosting her 29 years of experience in immigration law when we mentioned that our consultation was relating to the H-1B visas. After I replied with our further disappointment that she never let us know that H1B visas weren't her area of expertise while boosting 29 years of experience even if she knew our case related to H-1B, we never got a second reply. The office was pleasant and we had no issues with the conversation. Just be aware that you may want to consult a different attorney if your case relates to employment-based visas.

Mrs. Ersan got my visa application approved in a circumstance that wasn’t straightforward or easy to do so. Her staff was always accessible and nice to deal with. Beautiful office. She can be a little rough around the edges at times, but she’s someone you want in your corner.
