Deeply disappointing and careless handling of my Green Card process, zero sense of urgency or accountability My experience with Goel & Anderson, especially Attorney Sismi Menachery, has been one of the worst I’ve had with an immigration law firm. Their lack of urgency, poor communication, and careless handling of my PERM process directly contributed to severe professional and personal consequences for me. After my company approved my Green Card process in January 2024, it took them nearly six to seven months just to prepare and submit the Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD), a delay that cannot be justified. Every time I followed up with genuine concern about H-1B timelines, I only received copy-paste responses like “we are on track” or “these are DOL timelines,” with no accountability for their own internal delays. The PERM process is indeed complex, but that’s exactly why employees and employers rely on immigration attorneys to guide them efficiently and responsibly. Instead, this firm showed no proactive action, no ownership, and no empathy for the time-sensitive nature of an H-1B worker’s situation. Because of this repeated negligence and lack of transparency, my employer lost confidence and withdrew sponsorship, leaving me to face severe career and immigration uncertainty after years of service in the U.S. I strongly caution anyone, especially H-1B professionals from trusting their future to this firm. My experience with Goel & Anderson has been one of delays, frustration, and serious professional damage caused by their inefficiency and indifference. ___________ Update after firm reply: The firm’s mishandling of my Green Card was severe and inexcusable. Despite my employer approving the process in January 2024, they waited until May 2024 to file the Prevailing Wage Determination, then refiled in June 2024 — over five months of inaction during a critical H‑1B window. Repeated follow-ups were met with templated, meaningless responses, showing zero accountability or urgency. Because of these delays and their lack of ownership, my employer lost confidence and withdrew sponsorship, directly jeopardizing my career and immigration status. While DOL timelines exist, preparing, filing, and managing employer communications are the firm’s core duties - duties they failed completely. I stand by my review and warn others: relying on this firm risks career- and life-altering delays.
