This firm has done my taxes and advised me for years. They specialize in taxation but have strong, wide-ranging business knowledge. David Gordon and Ladoska Keeter have the education, years of experience and talent to look beyond the four corners of the return providing me with helpful advice about my business and personal financial affairs. I especially recommend them to help small businesses. They have a wide variety of experience and expertise (beyond tax) in this field. They've helped me expand my business from a small business to something much more profitable. Their fees are a bit higher than other firms, but they are tax specialists. They are not a tax return mill with college kids, bookkeepers, etc. doing the preparation work and handing a finished return to you without significant review of details and advice for the future when needed. They are on your side taking positions in your returns to save you taxes and avoiding ones that will cause you problems with the IRS. While searching for CPA with excellent reviews It's no surprise that this company has a 2 star rating. They were misleading, they did not ask the correct upfront questions to properly do your taxes. They will file your taxes under assumptions and not ask in-depth questions. My wife has $1600 in taxes which was not fully communicated correctly on their part. They admitted to submitting documents because they ASSUMED the $1600 was paid and did not reach out to communicate to find out the status of the $1600 whether it was paid or not. She has found out that her taxes are still NOT filed and she feels that this business may even be prejudiced because of the treatment, communication, and attention. or lack thereof she does not receive. $1600 which they should do the right thing and take ownership for their lack of doing business in a professional manner and poor communicating and reduce the $1600 from their $780 bill. PLEASE STAY AWAY AND TAKE YOUR TAXES ELSEWHERE! There are plenty of qualified CPAs in NC.
