Our initial communication began on July 18, 2025, and by November 10, 2025, my SSDI was officially approved. First time applying for Social Security. I needed a lawyer to represent me. I called Legal Aid Office and a representative sent us materials so that I could understand the process. The communication was opened and clear and a name and phone number was available if you had any questions answered. We used email for documents that needed to be signed and sent back immediately. It was faster than postal. A representative John Hoots was also helpful before I spoke to our lawyer and assured us that I was on the right track. My lawyer Diane Haar called for 15 minutes to let us know that everything needed is in front of her and was ready to go to court with us and I loved her positive attitude "We are going to win!" gave me hope and not so nervous. After court I was told I would received a letter from the Judge. It appears everything went faster than was quoted to me. Like our case might take one year and a half, it took about less than 6 months. I was surprised how fast the letter from the Judge came through the mail. Overall, I am thankful for everyone involved in representing me. Especially my lawyer she is worth it, but somehow she made me feel like I'm worth it. Mahalo, Walter K.

Wow I can't say enough good things about Diane Harr and her team of wonderful compassionate people! From the the very beginning they were there to help me , Diane is awesome she helped me WIN my case and I am currently awaiting my first payment!! If your having a hard time dealing with it on your own HDLS is the place to go! 🤙🌺

Diane is a miracle worker. My case was so messed up. But she got me a new hearing and represented me so well at that hearing. At HDLS they just get things done. Like I didn’t even know there was movement on my case. They just quietly do their job and get it done! I don’t know what I would have done without Diane. I imagine I’d be starting a new claim and worrying every day. Don’t wait. Call them and see if they can help you.

I cannot thank Diane and her extremely professional staff enough. They were definitely there for me when I needed them. I firmly believe that I would not have been approved for SSD if I had not made the call and reached out to them for assistance. I thought that I could go through this process on my own and that I could figure out the nuances necessary to get approval. I could not have been more wrong. If you are on the fence about requesting assistance, believe me when I say, do not hesitate to reach out to Diane's team to discuss your case. You will be so glad that you did. Like I mentioned, Diane's staff was extremely professional. Everyone that I spoke with was very caring and understanding, but I have to give a special shout out to Heidi.
