I've been going to Heimdal for over 15 years...I originally had Corrine do my taxes even before she came to work for Heimdal...loved her and was extremely happy with her before she retired! I stayed with Heimdal and tried others...I wasn't as happy...didn't get the high level personal service I was used to...this year I had Mark Heimkes help me do my 2024 taxes...finally I felt he completely made my experience personal and professional!!! I felt like I was happy with the way he answered any questions, and we had a great meeting! I would highly recommend Mark, and will use him next year too!!!

I would suggest staying clear of this financial firm. They came highly recommended by some close friends but, unfortunately, we did not have the same experience . We met with Pam in May and dropped off all requested documents. When we decided to pursue other accountants in November, we had not been provided monthly bookkeeping services nor any tax related services. Vickie was supposed to set up my husband's monthly ADP and it took her 5 months to not accomplish that. I would definitely stir clear of this financial services institution, especially if you want things to be taken care of (at all) or in a timely manner.

I have been very dissatisfied with the service this company provided to my elderly mother. Due to a mistake with her taxes she over paid ($12,000) and Pam has done nothing to help my mom. She was great when everything was smooth, but last year when this happened Pam stopped returning my mom's calls, and stopped communicating the information she would receive from the federal government. This may be a great tax accounting firm if everything is done right and there are no issues, BUT if they screw up or there are issues. you are left to fend for yourself. I cannot not believe they are not willing to help my elderly mother. What a horrible company, and Pam, you have been horrible to deal with, you should be ashamed of yourself. I do not recommend any elderly person to use this company.

I wouldn’t recommend using Heimdal. Whether it’s due to being understaffed or disorganized, their customer service was seriously lacking this year. I waited six weeks without a callback from my tax preparer, despite multiple follow-ups. Eventually, I had no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

Melissa Short was excellent for all my tax needs! I had 4 years of taxes to file! She made me feel welcome & had no qualms about doing all my taxes! Wonderful caring & well done!!
