My 78 year old mother has an account with them for years and I am an authorized representative. My mother has had horrible experiences with them. A couple of years ago they failed to properly make a timely distribution which required us to contact the IRA. They are very difficult to contact and speak to someone over the phone. The latest and last straw with them is them holding onto funds for over a month without making the wire distribution that was requested. Stay away from them. Update: IRA Financial bothers to send a reply to my initial review but does not bother contacting my mother or me. Stay the heck away from them.

IRA Financial has served as the checkbook IRA custodian for our entire family for past 7 years. They have a great team and they are absolutely fantastic to work with - they are knowledgeable and responsive. Recently we needed to make some changes with our IRA - their team beat all our expectations!

Up until the past month I would have said 4 stars. I've had an ongoing issue that hasn't been resolved. Over a month ago I was contacted by someone who said they were more familiar with my issue and could help out. I replied back with the necessary information and it's been radio silence for the past month. I've attempted twice to contact the individual I was working with asking for an update, and I e-mailed the general support staff asking for any sort of update. Normally, I wouldn't have had any issues with communicating, but at this point I feel like I need to find a new company to work with as I've lost trust in them. Been using them for a SDIRA for a few years now. Update: Shortly after posting this and sending an e-mail to general support staff, I did get a reply back from the person I was working with, and my problem was able to be resolved. I don't feel like things should have gotten to the point where I had to make a negative review to get the attention I needed, but stuff happens/slips through the cracks and hopefully there's something in place to correct what went wrong.

Great Service again, just recently I got help by Asa Moring. She provided to me very detail, friendly and quick responses, insuring that I will be comfortable with the transaction process .I recommend IRA Financial to all of my friends looking for SDIRA account.

Extremely helpful staff. The website could be easier to use, but the staff is available and knowledgable; I've never had any issues getting transactions completed. My last contact was with Asa Moring, who did a great job
