The WORST MISTAKE I have ever made in my life is hiring Ivy Graham in September 2021 on my divorce case. She really does not care about my interest and a fair representation of me on my case. However, she was clever and professional in “SHAKING ME DOWN AND RAKING MY MONEY”. Ivy is not the person to represent you if you are a colored person, she will discriminate against you indirectly. She was cross-examining and charging me instead of fairly defending, legally advising, and representing me. After firing her off my case, I was able to fight my case better. It seems to me that she does not know her job well and was easily intimated by opposing attorney. DO NOT HIRE HER IF YOU WANT TO WIN YOUR CASE or do better. She said she has not represented me, please see the attached photos for evidence on when I signed and hired her, and when I fired her.

The primary reason for this review is a serious lack of confidentiality. During a family-law consultation involving sensitive personal matters, the call was placed on speaker. The call was not properly disconnected and ended with dismissive verbal acknowledgments (“uh-uh/uh-huh”) directed to someone else in the room. I also heard additional remarks, which I will not repeat. This raises fundamental concerns about confidentiality and professional intake practices. I waited over ten days for this scheduled consultation. I explained upfront that my case involved complexity and was told it likely was not. Once I began outlining the facts, the tone shifted to dismissive, and the consultation ended abruptly. I offered to pay for the time spent. Those seeking representation for complex or high-stakes matters should carefully consider this experience before scheduling.

This attorney lost the case, then tried to drag it out with a motion for a new trial that had no real legal footing just to get more money from us, Her filings were sloppy, her understanding of Louisiana law was questionable, and her tactics came off as desperate rather than strategic. If you want progress, clarity, and real legal knowledge, look somewhere else. 1 star because 0 wasn’t an option!

It’s not often, that you meet someone as Awesome as Ivy Graham. Ivy is knowledgeable, extremely intelligent, professional, considerate, kind, compassionate and most of all trustable. Ivy did a fabulous job of really understanding me, what my priorities were, helping me understand the law and find the best way to patiently work through the process in order to achieve those goals. My soon to be former wife was very difficult; she wanted full custody and all assets, Thanks to IVY that did not happen. I can’t imagine what I would have done without her. Ivy always went over and beyond for me and everyone I recommended to her. It’s a huge blessing to have worked with Ivy and continue to be close to her even now, Ivy is a great friend instead of an attorney to me. Ivy’s Knowledge of the law and her ability to make people comfortable are nothing short of amazing. There are not enough words to say thank you, she is blessing.

I highly recommend MS. Graham! She was very efficient in my divorce. We started in March and was finished in June. She kept me updated throughout. Big shout out to her receptionist!!!! Sooo sweet and answered evey question to the best of her ability. I feel so bad , I can’t remember her name.🤦‍♀️She was awesome!
