I felt at ease and confident after the first time I met with them. If a friend has any legal issues I would definitely refer them. You can't go wrong.

Jared and Bijon took away ANY negative stereo-type I may have had about attorneys. They completely saved my case last minute. I felt heard and validated throughout the process. I am so thankful for all their hard-work at a last minute notice. The front desk is also so sweet in understanding financial planning. If I ever need another attorney (outside of JC Law)I know the right questions to ask in who I would hire because they set the bar high in empathy, organization, and ease/access to information. My case is complicated and I was going through a lot but you walked me through it and I can’t even know how to thank you. Thank you Bijan, legal assistant for taking my calls when Jared is in court and providing me the best service. Finally I want to thank Shiree from finance team. However, I would like to express my concern regarding the costs associated with the firm's services. While I understand the value of quality legal representation, the expenses have been quite high for me. Any advice on managing these costs in the future would be greatly appreciated. I am writing this review based on my recent experience with this firm. Back in Feb/March 2025, I contacted JC Law only to inquire about possibly hiring an attorney for a family court matter. I never retained them,never had an official consultation with any attorney from the firm, and no one from this firm ever represented me in court. In fact, I chose to hire a completely different law firm after learning that JC Law required a retainer payment before allowing an actual consultation, which I found unusual and concerning after speaking with others who have hired attorneys. Despite never working with them, I recently began receiving emails and phone calls claiming that I owe an outstanding balance of $435 and referencing a lawyer I never worked with. When I asked for proof — such as a retainer agreement, signed contract, or documentation — none was provided. Instead, I was sent invoices for services I never received and voicemail logs of missed calls, which is not proof of legal services or an attorney-client relationship. I have repeatedly explained that: • I never retained this firm • I never had a paid consultation • No one from JC Law ever appeared in court or provided representation • I went with a different law firm entirely Yet I continue to receive messages asking for payment. This situation has been stressful, confusing, and unprofessional, and I believe it is important to warn others to be cautious. Transparent billing practices and signed agreements are a basic expectation in legal services, and charging someone who never retained counsel is unacceptable. I hope this review encourages the firm to correct their internal records and prevent this from happening to others.
