I inquired with Joseph and Norinsberg in 04/2025 about a potential case I had. They took my case and assigned me Attorney Arjeta. Attorney Arjeta was phenomenal, very informative, compassionate, and helpful. She always kept me updated and reassured me that this matter would be handled. A little over a third of the case time later, my case was reassigned to John due to Arjeta having to take an important leave, which is understandable. During this reassignment, the first issue arose. A month went by in my case with no updates. I wasn’t even told my case was reassigned until I had to disturb Arjeta on her leave, to which she told me my case was reassigned to John. John then got on the phone with me and explained what was going on with my case and set me up on a call with Robert to get some more details down. Robert was very nice, intelligent and compassionate. We spoke for a while. He went over all the little details that I didn’t think were important but they very much were in Robert’s expertise. A few months went by, and John informed me that a settlement agreement had been reached and if I liked the agreement. I thought we could do better based on the ample evidence I had gathered, but John informed me that this is one of the best outcomes we could possibly get. Having full faith in my attorney and his judgment as a professional, I accepted the amount. Throughout this time, I was getting updates probably once a month, which would be more helpful if it was in smaller intervals, maybe by weekly; however, I understand attorneys probably have their hands full with many cases. Regardless, I am sent this huge agreement with no explanation of anything and what anything means. I thought if my attorney is getting a percentage of this settlement, they should run me through what everything means, but they didn’t, so I reviewed it myself and signed it accordingly. Anyways, the settlement was supposed to be paid out at a certain time after the revocation period or else it risks being in breach. That time came and payment was made at the last possible second almost out of spite. I reached out to John twice after I thought this period had passed to which, He calls me almost seeming annoyed and ensures me I will get paid and the timeframe is extended by like two days because that’s when the company signed the agreement I thought the agreement was in breach he told me it wasn’t so I didn’t argue this matter. Then they tell me I will get direct deposit for a portion which direct deposits are quick usually 1-2 business days, 5 business days go by no direct deposit so then I am told now I’ll be getting a check instead so at this point it feels like the company that owes me this settlement is being spiteful and my attorney is not explaining much so that doesn’t help either it was just a very stressful process towards the end of the case. For a firm that got a percentage above the industry standard at 33% I expected a little more from John, it felt as though at times when I reached out to John I was bothering him when I was just seeking a update which I am a human too I understand we have bad days. However from a client standpoint you don’t want to feel like your attorney is annoyed or bothered by you, overall rating of the firm 3/5 the settlement was reached relatively quick compared to what I hear other people have to wait which demonstrates their abilities are outstanding, just the communication and the end of the case when it came time to getting paid were big issues for me. For the most part everyone was great just those couple of issues I had along the way.

I want to thank you all at Joseph & Norinsberg. In January I was looking for a law firm to take on my discrimination case and many said I did not have a case. I expanded my search and read all these amazing reviews about this law firm and gave you all a try. I explained my situation and you took me on. You guys made things very convenient. I never had to set foot in the office. Special thanks to paralegal Ricardo Guerra who answered my emails promptly. Thomas Chung who expedited my check yesterday and I received it this morning!!!🙂 As well as my Attorney John Meehan. He was absolutely amazing. He did not back down during my settlement proceedings and helped me get more than what my severance would have been or what they tried to give me. He reassured me throughout the entire process.
