I would highly recommend attorney Laura Klein and her team to anybody in need of a skilled, compassionate and knowledgeable family law attorney. Attorney Klein was my divorce attorney and I worked with her for over a year. There were also children of the marriage, born via surrogacy, which maybe complicated things a bit more and made it challenging. I found her very knowledgable about the law. She was always available to speak with me and/or meet in person in a timely manner. I always felt heard by her and her team, never judged, and always cared about. She was there to give me the hard facts and the things I didn't want to hear, but she knew I needed to, while also being empathetic to my emotions. She prepared me in advance for every hearing and trail, not just to ensure a successful outcome for me, but to also ensure I was emotionally okay. She looked out for me and helped me to make the hard decisions that I could not do on my own. Without her support and experience, her kindness and availability, I do not know how I would have gotten through it. Jessica, her paralegal, was also great. Again, very kind, never judging and always prompt to reply to my emails and questions, as well as helping me with all the paperwork that comes with divorce. Laura was also very familiar with the family court in Litchfield county, even though her practice is located in Hartford county. In the end, Laura got me exactly what I hoped for from the very beginning.

I needed a divorce attorney, and when I called their staff was down to earth, I can speak freely. I picked attorney Babbitt was because I feel that we had a connection because I have used them in the past and I Said I’m going to continue and they have treated me right. When it comes to to divorce it never ends up where we want it, attorney Babbit helped me understand that there are unrealistic expectations and realistic ones and helped me navigate that and to do whats best and what I feel is most comfortable to me. The result came out great It could of been worse if I decided to go to trial and go in at a 50/50 chance, however they were willing to go to battle with me and put their battle war paint on with me, but In the end she was able to finalize a deal.
