I hired Loren for my divorce. While I did get full legal custody and most of what I asked for, the final judgment included serious oversights that have caused ongoing problems. In court Loren is a professional and did very well. However, I frequently brought up my high-conflict ex’s manipulative behavior and asked for proactive terms to reduce conflict, but he brushed it off. I was frequently told "This is just standard" instead of recognizing this was not a standard divorce, it was a high-conflict one. The wording around the sale of our home was contradictory. One section says I had to pay all closing costs, another said equity is split after expenses. This put me at risk of covering more than my fair share. I had to pay thousands of dollars hiring a new attorney to fix the financial oversight. There were multiple portions that didnt appear to have good review and editing. I was anxious to finalize and didn’t see the issues until it was too late. Whether it was negligence or a way to keep me coming back for more legal help, I’m left angry and disappointed. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone navigating a high-conflict divorce. I cannot speak to any other in this office as I've heard they provide quality work I can only speak to the representation I had.
