My wife and I started an adjustment of status process via Johanna’s firm. We got the chance to meet Johanna twice and we were assisted promptly at every single step by her paralegal Geo and one of her attorneys Angel. Our process, despite being straightforward, remained challenging mentally for us so we are very grateful for all their hard work - it helped us navigating a very stressful process. Our process took the exact amount of time they had announced us. We even got our work permit delivered earlier than initially expected. Every piece of doubt we had along the way was quickly addressed by Johanna herself via email which was re-assuring. We would recommend them standardizing interview preparation - even for the easiest cases - because our interview was quite tough and could have benefitted from better preparation ahead of our appointment. This being said, we were lucky to have their team by our side and everything worked out perfectly since we were recently greened despite a difficult and long interview! thanks a thousand again! I was detained by ICE June 12, 2024 and my family spent a few weeks looking for a decent lawyer, every lawyer we came across was just worried about the money and didn’t give us a good feeling. When we came across Johanna’s firm she came to visit me for a consultation in Plymouth County and immediately I felt a spark. One of their top lawyers Jonathan Ng saved my life, he got me out of detention and got me my green card. Throughout the whole process their whole team was always making sure I was okay and was there for me if I needed anything. This is hands down the best immigration law firm in the country in my opinion and there’s no way I can thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me. If you are having trouble with your immigration case I highly recommend you go to the Law Office of Johanna Herrero, I promise you every dollar you spend with them will be worth it!

I do not recommend this lawyer. My brother was detained by ICE and I called the lawyer's office. They told me they were going to look for me and blah blah blah and that they were going to call me back to tell me the situation, but I never received the call. I called them. They just put me on hold and from there they put me on voicemail. I called with a private number. They answered when I asked and I gave them my brother's name, who was already a client. They told me I had the wrong number. So here is my question what happen with the money..?

Absolutely unacceptable experience. My friend trusted this firm with his immigration case after living in the U.S. for over 11 years—since childhood. Instead of pursuing stronger legal options like DACA or SIJS, they filed under a weak program that got canceled. Now he’s left without status and at risk of deportation. They charged him $780 just to renew his work permit, then stopped answering his calls and gave him no real support. Clients deserve better than being ignored and left in limbo. This office shows a serious lack of care and professionalism. Avoid at all costs.
