Very disappointing experience. Even before the initial consultation, there was a significant amount of back-and-forth just to schedule an appointment. Communication was consistently poor, responses were delayed, and the overall process felt disorganized. The final straw was when I was scheduled for a video consultation with an attorney, received confirmation of the appointment, and then never received the information needed to join the meeting. After following up, I did not hear back until well after the scheduled appointment time. If a firm struggles this much with communication and organization during the intake process, it naturally raises concerns about how client matters are handled. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

I was detained by ICE June 12, 2024 and my family spent a few weeks looking for a decent lawyer, every lawyer we came across was just worried about the money and didn’t give us a good feeling. When we came across Johanna’s firm she came to visit me for a consultation in Plymouth County and immediately I felt a spark. One of their top lawyers Jonathan Ng saved my life, he got me out of detention and got me my green card. Throughout the whole process their whole team was always making sure I was okay and was there for me if I needed anything. This is hands down the best immigration law firm in the country in my opinion and there’s no way I can thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me. If you are having trouble with your immigration case I highly recommend you go to the Law Office of Johanna Herrero, I promise you every dollar you spend with them will be worth it!

Unfortunately I have to say I trusted them very much but sadly they have disappointed me. I agreed with other reviewers saying “the first thing they asked about was money, and once you pay them, they start ignoring you” so upsetting. I’ve been trying to get in contact to the office but don’t pick up and direct me to the voicemail. When they finally answered, the receptionist told I was going to be called later in the day but never received that call, now I’m calling again and going through the same waste of time. Only way to talk to them was going in person to the office and if it’s for something simple, wouldn’t be easier and practical answer a call? The worst part is I already paid most of the money, so now I suppose I have to keep trying, I don’t know what to do. I also got to say this wasn’t like that until the last year I almost paid everything and my case has been sitting in one their desk for long time. I understand that today migration is under complicated circumstances and times, but I would expect more emphaty.
