Spar & Bernstein was highly recommended by a friend for my immigration needs and I must say that they are the best. My experience dealing with the firm for renewing my green card and filing for me to become a united state citizen was very comforting and relaxing, after my initial appointment I felt confident that everything will turn out fine. After the attorney carfully review my records they reassured me I was good to go. The process did not take long and I am now a USA citizen. My attorney and her Paralegal were exceptional to deal with, everytime i had a question they were easily available and always easy to talk to. This place gives great service to their clients especially in these trying times and so I highly recommend spar & Bernstein to anyone who is seeking immigration services.

My family have done 4 cases with Spar & Bernstein over the years.There were Highs and Lows but the Highs outweighs the Lows. I would like to thank all the past & present Attorneys and Paralegals some of whom no longer works with the firm that played a major part in our success. For my most recent case I would love to say a huge thank you to Giscel Bobadilla ( Senior Paralegal) who was very responsive, knowledgeable, dedicated and communicated well with me. At times I was frustrated because I felt things should be moving much faster but she always remained professional, courteous and assured me that they (Emily & herself)were doing their best. I hired Spar & Bernstein to assist with a B-2 tourist visa application for my mother. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations for a firm of this reputation and cost. From the start, the process lacked clear strategy and proactive guidance. I spent much of the year following up repeatedly for basic updates. Communication gaps often lasted weeks or even months, and progress only seemed to happen when I pushed for it. For a relatively straightforward visitor visa case, this level of disorganization was unacceptable. Only one narrow approach was ever presented for the application, and alternative avenues were never meaningfully explored or discussed. If additional factors were considered internally, that was not communicated at any point during the process. There were also clear internal inconsistencies. Advice I received from one team member did not align with what was later stated during a call with my mother, including something as basic as the intended length of stay. Quality control was another major issue. The invitation letter included in the application was not the version I had previously worked on with the firm and contained issues that should never have passed internal review. I ultimately had to rewrite it myself because it was not usable. Suggestions made late in the process about strengthening ties were not practical for my mother’s circumstances and should have been raised early, if they were truly part of the firm’s strategy. Raising such considerations only at the end reinforced the impression that the case was not proactively or thoroughly evaluated. Clients hire immigration attorneys for legal expertise, strategic thinking, and guidance, not just form completion or appointment coordination. Unfortunately, my experience reflected broader issues with communication, coordination, and follow-through.
