Look elsewhere for a more knowledgeable lawyer if you are hoping to adopt. We spent a year (and thousands of dollars)working with Katherine and her team. Our case ended up getting thrown out because of a simple jurisdiction issue that she should have known about in the beginning. She refused to take any responsibility for it and did not refund us any money. Very poor bedside matter, too, as after she lost the case and refused to refund us, she sent a stock letter thanking us for our business and saying the greatest complement is our referral. No thanks.
