I was in full panic mode when I reached out MartinLaw. My case was a an emergency family court case. I spoke to Brian who was very professional and explained to me the process that would need to happen in my case and the financial aspect of what I needed to expect. I called 20 firms and not a single person called me back except Brian from MartinLaw and they called back in the same day. I am beyond great full. I then talked to Eliana who is Arleth’s assistant. Elaina answered my calls day and night and on the weekends. Eliana never ignored any of my panicked calls , or got annoyed with my panicked calls. Thank you Eliana for calming me down in a state of panic , thank you for answering all of my calls. Arleth who is my attorney is so professional and even on my worst days Arleth always had a smile on her face and never once interrupted me and not once got rude with me. Arleth is so sweet and ready to fight for me she made me tear up when I read the affidavit, her words were so moving professional and powerful. I am beyond thankful for everyone that helped me through this very difficult time and through all of the triumph we won so thanks a million to Arleth Bryan and Elaina for being there for me and being such wonderful professional individuals.

I am EXTREMELY upset with this law firm. I reached out for initial consultation on Saturday march 1st. I gave all initial information needed and explained this was an EMERGENCY case and should be treated as so. Since then I have been charged over 2,000$! One charge is specifically for a phone call from them to apologize for having to reschedule my initial zoom meeting due to an issue on there end. Something completely out of my control and I was charged 108$! It is now March 6th and NO EMERGENCY EX PARTE MOTION has been filed on the behalf of my childrens safety. This law firm has charged me an absolute ridiculous amount( over 2000$) Has not filed anything on my childrens behalf regarding this emergency motion. I cannot reach out to them knowing I will be charged for that as well. Since they charged me so they could apologize for having to reschedule, it is clear that any communication will cost me regardless. I am now dealing with this law firm with great intrepidation. I cannot afford the tit for tat. I am a mother of 4 and the money I invested here was meant to be for a down payment on our forever home. Its now being sucked down a black hole. So this is my communication to Brian, Arleth and Eliana. I would like you to file my emergency motion by Monday since I have already paid you over $2000.00 in less than a week. Once that is filed I would like to rescind my contract with you for your failure to follow fiduciary duties at this time. Id also ask that the money I have in your trust account be immediately reimbursed so I can take my case to someone who will actually provide services rather than waste my time and money. The money I have paid thus far should be adjusted accordingly. The documents I sent over took me 1/4 of the time to sift through that I was charged for "reviewing" MULTIPLE TIMES! How many initial case reviews do you guys need? I cannot believe an EMERGENCY case involving MINOR children would ever be disregarded by a professional team thats getting paid to act on there behalf but has done nothing but charge for false time and effort. File my motion....shoulda been done DAYS AGO!

Extremely Disappointing Representation and Lack of Communication I would strongly caution anyone considering this firm. Summary for readers: Poor communication, failure to relay critical information, and unexpected billing. I was charged for “communication” that did not occur, despite being told I would not be billed for explanations or billing-related matters. If you use LawPay, funds may be withdrawn without clear notice or timely explanation. I strongly recommend clarifying all billing and communication policies in writing before retaining this firm. I had a very disappointing experience with this family law attorney (Arleth, Eliana, Brian), primarily due to serious communication failures and a lack of transparency. I was explicitly told that I would not be charged for communication, yet I later discovered I was billed for it. These charges were not clearly explained and felt misleading. Over an 11-day period, I attempted to communicate three separate times to obtain answers to important questions regarding my case. Each time, I was told that someone would contact me. I was specifically informed that I would receive a call at 3:00pm on Wednesday, but as of the following Monday ( today), I had still not been contacted. Most concerning, a court order was signed on January 26, 2026, at 1:00pm, and I have not heard from my attorney since. No explanation, guidance, or follow-up was provided regarding the order or next steps, leaving me to navigate critical custody matters on my own. Given that this was a high-stakes family law case involving children, the lack of responsiveness, unexpected billing, and absence of proactive advocacy caused significant stress and ultimately led to a complete loss of trust. I was forced to terminate representation. I would strongly caution anyone considering this firm to ask detailed questions in writing about billing practices, communication expectations, and follow-through, especially in time-sensitive family law matters.

I wish I had known better. My case was treated poorly. I told my attorney that I had health issues, I had a son who needed her to ADVOCATE for us and I think it all went out the other side of her head. Truly, I wish I had listened to my gut instead of the recommendation of a friend who used the attorney for an open and shut custody agreement. My case was more involved and I was sick during it, I needed her to step up and now that I am clear-headed, I see how much she just let slide by from parenting time, spousal support, and division of assets. Had she cared to know the laws of refinancing a home and number of years alimony was needed to be considered as income, I would have benefited. I was sick, and needed my attorney to help me around EVERY turn, most things negotiated were just the bare minimum. I do not recommend them.

Martine law dropped the ball in my case. They basically copied my own documents and pasted it onto their own forms. They addressed none of my concerns, didn’t fight for me in court, went against my wishes in settling, and cost me another year without my kids, additional child support payments, and the loss of all of my assets. They insisted on agreeing with the conditions of my ex husband, even though I told them he would not comply. And I was right. I’m left with nothing to speak of because of them, have actually lost money, and additionally they charged me $4000… to do absolutely nothing. Waste of money. They promised to fight for me and then ignored my concerns and rolled over in court because it was easier than actually reading my documents and examples of how extreme the contempt charges should be based on my ex’s behaviors. They didn’t know any details about my case and I could tell they didn’t spend more than a few minutes quickly looking at it prior to the hearing. Worst experience ever.
