While I would have welcomed a bit more one-on-one time leading up to the appointment, the entire process was so quick and smooth that I am filled with gratitude for their support. We were living a complete nightmare with a highly complex immigration case. You know how horrible and bad this time is for immigrants and even people with green card if you have past be careful I will tell you my story. Pozo Goldstein LLP (and attorney Frieda Goldstein) mishandled my immigration case from start to finish. They reviewed my evidence, told me it was sufficient, and gave the green light. After USCIS denied my I-485, they suddenly demanded $3,500 to file an appeal. The firm was sloppy and negligent the entire time: they missed deadlines, failed to properly check sponsor documents, and did not follow up on my EAD application. I had to prepare and file the Motion to Reopen myself because they refused to do it. When I pushed back on their handling and the sudden fee request, the managing partner told me it was “best if I seek new counsel.” They essentially abandoned me right before a critical deadline while my immigration status was on the line. If you have a serious, time-sensitive immigration case, stay far away from this firm. They will take your money, give you false confidence, and then leave you hanging when things go wrong. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
