Going through divorce is an existentially stressful process, including facing significant financial risk until, if and when, a settlement is achieved. One can feel brutalized and overwhelmed by the process. I am not exaggerating to say I might not have got through the process - and successfully so - without my lawyer, Kevin Brown of the law firm: Needle | Cuda. In order to mentally handle the divorce process, you need to be able to TRUST your lawyer. Hiring Jenna DeMartino (Juris #441922) was, regrettably, one of the most disappointing decisions I’ve made in seeking legal representation. I felt profoundly let down by her handling of my family law case. Although Ms. DeMartino initially appeared caring and competent, my experience revealed what I believe was a troubling lack of understanding regarding family law and the constitutional rights afforded to me—particularly under the 14th Amendment. At several critical junctures, I felt misrepresented and unsupported. In my opinion, Ms. DeMartino failed to uphold the ethical and professional standards that are expected within the legal profession. I strongly urge others to seek alternative legal counsel, especially when dealing with sensitive, high-stakes matters such as family law.
