I walked into France Nolan’s office totally confused as to what I was getting into. In the first meeting, I knew she would be the right one to work with through this process. It is an intimidating time, but my ex and I had shared goals and I had my own, and Frances helped me achieve those. This process does not go smooth, no matter how much you think you can make it that way. However, Frances was there as a partner in the process helping navigate all the twists and turns. She helped manage difficult conversations, provided creative solutions, and managed expectations throughout. She was open-minded to outside the box ideas, how to incorporate those in the divorce process, and when to steer me away from them. I never felt like she was running the clock/bill on me and felt that I had someone in my corner (when very few were). What she does not list in her services was the mental health counseling she sometimes had to step in and provide. I wouldn’t’ hesitate to recommend Frances to anyone going through this unfortunate situation. The collaborative divorce process is not something you hear about often, but Frances fought for me and the interests of our goals throughout. 5 Stars.

I cannot thank Frances enough for all of her care and support throughout my divorce process. From the first time we met for the initial consultation, I knew she was the best fit for my particular situation. She also provided ample advice and resources for how to talk to my children about divorce which was incredibly reassuring. If you are looking for someone hard working, who will fight for you, and is also incredibly caring, look no further. Highly recommend Nolan Byars!

I cannot say enough good things about Leigh Byers with Nolan & Byers Law Firm. She came into my divorce case a year into the process after my former attorney withdrew the day of trial due to a conflict of interest. Leigh had to get up to speed on an extremely complex and emotional case in a short timeframe, and she did so with incredible dedication and grace. She worked through her own vacation to make sure we were both prepared, and she fought for me every step of the way. Her communication, empathy, attention to detail, and negotiation skills were outstanding. Leigh not only advocated fiercely for my best interests in a high-conflict case, but she also made me feel seen and supported through one of the most difficult times of my life. When my ex was dishonest in court documents, she didn’t let anything slide — she stood her ground with professionalism and strength. Even after we were able to settle the case the day of trial, she continued to fight for me until everything was finalized months later. Leigh Beyers - man oh man, I wish I had met her sooner! I made a consultation appointment to discuss a post-divorce issue. I made the mistake of agreeing to use the same attorney (his attorney) for my uncontested divorce and was in the throws of being royally screwed over. Even though it wasn't the answer I hoped for, Leigh was direct with her legal advice. She was also compassionate with delivering the news to me. I left the consultation appointment without a single question of wondering left in my head. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a direct, no nonsense, passionate and kind lawyer on their side. So, go ahead - make an appointment. Sit and chat with her. I bet you'll feel the same way. Just be smarter than me and actually talk to her BEFORE signing any legal documents.

I have had very little experience with the legal system so I was understandably anxious when faced with choosing an attorney to handle my divorce. A trusted friend recommended Frances Nolan. My first meeting with her brought a sigh of relief. She put me at ease almost immediately. She was seriously professional, yet easy going. She outlined an action plan in clear simple words and answered all my questions. Her calm assurance was just what I needed As the divorce process progressed, Frances kept me informed with phone calls and emails.
