I initially wrote a positive review of One Atlanta because their team seemed innovative and creative in their financial strategies. Unfortunately, my opinion has completely changed. They set us up with multiple indexed insurance products and thoroughly explained that future premiums would be funded by the product itself. A year later, we discovered this was not the case. To keep the policies, we would have needed to pay over $50k in premiums for a single year—money we simply did not have, nor could we risk needing again the following year. As a result, we had no choice but to cancel both policies. That’s when we learned the hard way that these policies carry massive penalties for early withdrawal. In less than a year, we lost half of our investment. To be clear, indexed insurance products can be useful if set up correctly and with the right expectations. But I would not trust One Atlanta to structure them for you. If you do move forward, I strongly urge you to: • Read every word of the fine print. • Review cancellation terms thoroughly. • Scrutinize all disclosure schedules very closely. My only regret now is not just finding this firm too late—but trusting them at all.
