After many dead ends over the past two years seeking direction with a situation and a very complicated case, I was heard and found that direction with both Chuck and Ben at Ormond Dunn. They ask for consultions fees to tell yours claim is not worth anything to them. If you have a mental disability/disorder and requested a reasonable accommodation from your landlord/office manager, this lawyer is not for you. They claim I could only claim damages that did not involve my mental health/disability. They basically told me nothing under federal laws protects me if I’m being harassed, retaliated against because I asked for help with very serious maintenance problem. Emotional, mental anguish does not matter to these lawyers. He claims the only rights I had as a disabled renter is to leave. Regardless if the management/ owner’s have deliberately made the dwelling unsafe and not enjoyable for months, as a result of refusing to remove an over 25 year old AC unit that is contaminated, that filled the whole apartment with contamination and did not my help medical conditions. They don’t represent you, if you were harassed, retaliated against as a disabled person asking for help.They claim my disability and me asking for reasonable accommodation did not fit the Americans with Disabilities Act laws. If your a disabled renter in South Carolina with emotional and mental illness you don’t rights under federal laws worth being enforced by a lawyer, DOJ or the Human Affairs Commission. No wander why there are a lot of homeless people on the streets. I just have a loving family who cares.

Chuck Ormond is very Professional and Knowledgeable. He is straight to the point which I can appreciate. I also appreciate his compassion and genuine concern for his Clients. He's a Fighter when you need someone in your corner to look out for your best interests. His Secretary Ms Kathy is a Sweetheart and soo very nice. They are personable, friendly.
