I have been going to payless tax services for years. Mary is fantastic and goes over everything with us to ensure we know exactly what our tax rate or refund is. They are very knowledgeable and ensure top notch service. Their expertise allows them to work through complex tax issues that have helped us over the years. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who wants quality expertise service at a good price.

Mary Ann Bone is the Real Deal! She kindly assisted with a complicated tax situation involving a 401k. She is currently working to help me resolve errors of another tax professional from two years ago. And she’s guiding me in my effort to prove to the IRS last year’s tax return was legitimate (that I was not the victim of identity theft).

Extremely disappointed in this business which was recommended by a friend. They claimed that they called me that my taxes were done but no voice mail or call was ever received. When I called to see if my taxes were done, Mia kept repeating my phone number wrong. If they can't get a phone number right, it makes you not trust the document prepared. I requested an appointment with the accountant and was told they were leaving at 4 pm so my appointment was at 3pm. I had to take off of work for this. I arrive and the accountant is with another customer and the receptionists says the appointment was at 4 pm. This of course does not coincide with what I was told earlier. But, I can meet the with actual person that prepared the report. When asking Amanda was degree or training she has, she states yearly training with the company. My taxes were prepared by a person with no degree. No idea if the accountant actual reviewed it. I would not recommend this business.

This has turned out to be the WORST tax experience of my life. My taxes were done horribly wrong in 2016 and it has ended up costing me over $7000.00 for her mistakes and guidance. She charged me $900.00 to file one page which she did incorrectly according to the IRS. I recommend you go somewhere else. I also sent a friend to her that same year and her taxes were done incorrectly too and she had to pay a lot of money in wrongly filed tax returns and penalties. Mary Ann you are welcome to call me if you really care about your clients.

Absolutely the worst customer service. I own and manage two small business’s here in Sheridan Wy. MaryAnn was recommended by my insurance agent and My first encounter with my personal taxes at Payless was a positive one. They gave me the time of day and helped keep money in my pocket. Naturally I handed over the books for our couple month old other partnership business and paid a large some of money to have quick books set up so that the tax process could be expedited due to proper organization. Months went by and several phone calls and walk ins yielded no results. Every time I went in they assured me they were waiting on me to get them info. I would gather the info bring it back and they said they would call me when they were done. MONTHS went by and every week and a half I would come in and say “what’s going on?” Finally after a few months she sent in an way under qualified lady that had no idea what to do. Then she charged us 80ish an hour for the consultation and that’s after we paid $500 for setting up our books and waited months for any response. So apparently I didn’t learn a thing because even after all this I decided to give them the responsibility of doing my personal taxes for 2018. I had all the paperwork organized and itemized for the accountants convenience. I turned it in with middle of Feb expecting a somewhat timely response. A month and a half went by and still nothing. So I called, and physically stopped in the office to speak with MaryAnn with no avail. No response, other than an extremely rude secretary saying she will relay the info. Now taxes are literally due in a couple days and I haven’t heard a thing. There is no excuse for the lack of communication and why I now have to file an extension. I have a family and two small business’s, chasing down an accountant is not what I want to spend my time and money on. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
