Ed McKibbin was exactly the kind of lawyer you hope to find, but honestly do not expect to. We hired him for a school zone traffic ticket and he jumped on it immediately. He fought for the best possible outcome and made sure we understood what was happening the whole way through, without ever talking down to us or making us feel like we were bothering him. His communication was incredible. If we called or emailed, we heard back quickly, and his messages were actually clear and helpful, not vague or rushed. He was also genuinely kind and easy to talk to, which matters so much when you are stressed and just want someone competent in your corner. What stood out most is how seriously he treated our situation. This was not some huge case, but Ed treated us like we were a top priority and handled everything with care and professionalism. We felt taken care of from start to finish. We are beyond grateful for his help and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. If we ever need an attorney again, Ed is the only person we would call. And yes I'm a real person and yes this is a real review. I picked this law firm because of all the wonderful reviews, and they're not lying.
EXCELLENT job!! Everything was delivered as promised! Outstanding communication with me throughout the process and feel service was priced fairly. As about-of-state client, I feel very fortunate to have found this practice. Mike made my situation as pleasant as possible and was very easy to work with. Highly recommend!
Be careful before you decide to work with Joe Pioletti. He's a well outspoken gentleman who will promise you anything to gain your trust and get your business. Those promises are empty. Your legal problem is not about you, but about fees and profit for Mr. Pioletti. Most importantly, before you enter into any agreement with this law firm, do your research. Talk to couple other attorneys! THERE IS ANOTHER LAWYER OUT THERE WHO WILL CHARGE YOU LESS! YOU CAN ALWAYS NEGOTIATE WITH YOUR ATTORNEY! Hopefully YOUR lawyer will spell your name right when filling legal paper work. *Dear Mr. Pioletti, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent professional interactions. Although I am not your client, my experience as a small business owner dealing with your firm has been deeply concerning. It is my understanding that your involvement resulted in an additional $4,500 in fees being added to my client’s debt in order for her to retain a vehicle valued at $7,000. During our phone conversation, you assured me that a payment structure would be established to cover both your legal fees and the balance owed to my business. Based on these assurances, I chose to move forward in good faith without retaining my own legal counsel. To date, I have not received a single payment. It appears that the primary focus was on securing your own firm's compensation rather than providing equitable legal guidance that considered the financial reality of those involved. I trust you understand why I would neither utilize nor recommend your services in the future. Regards, Bart Pilipajc
Don showed up to court unprepared from the first court appearance, I had to tell him about what was going on in my case. He asked me questions about the case DURING the hearing, there was no preparation beforehand, no calls and no conference, but he still tried to charge me for a conference before and after the hearing. He did not even know what his paralegal had told me, he asked “who told you that” when I had to correct him on something he was telling the judge! He would not say or tell anything I asked him to say to the judge, he said “I’m not going to say that”. He told me that he was going to ask for a bond equal to what I was owed by the other party, but then told the judge “whatever you think is appropriate”, without telling me he was changing it. Second court date, the other party said he paid bills and should be deducted from what he owes, and Don did not even ask for proof of that, just took his word, to find out later that the other party had lied, so we had to go to another court date, at which Don was not even aware that it was just a hearing, thought it was a trial. Then he proceeded to argue with me on the amount I was supposed to receive, he would not listen to me as to why I believe he was wrong, and talked over me, and would not allow me to talk, he kept coming up with different amounts, and refused to do what I wanted from it. Kept talking to me in a loud and disrespectful manner, and because I refused to agree with him, he withdrew from my case. Response to firm: EVERYTHING I mentioned in my review is most certainly “factually accurate”, as I had to email Don’s paralegal just after the first court date regarding his unpreparedness, see the photos of those emails). Don most certainly asked me “who told you that”, during court, and my husband was sitting right next to me as witness to that, and I am sure the microphone in front of us picked it up as well. And as of the last court date that I attended, the judge did not make a ruling on the side issue, another court date had to be scheduled because Don unprofessionally argued with me and raised his voice, and refused to LISTEN to what I wanted, and just because I wasn’t bending to him, he chose to withdraw. I can agree that the billing issues were addressed, and resolved, but had I not mentioned the firm trying to charge me for services not received, it would not have been corrected. I also agree with the primary issue in my case being successfully resolved. But take accountability for the mistakes made as well as your victories, instead of calling your former clients liars because they called out your mistakes.
When it comes to commitment and professionalism, there are none better than the Men and Women of Pioletti Pioletti & Nichols. They went out of their way to ensure I received the best experience and outcome possible. Zachary is exceptional in every way you want an attorney to be. 10 stars to the wonderful people at this firm. Updated!!! Mike handled a traffic case for me, and his style and work getting me a good outcome was well above my expectations. Wouldn't recommend any other law firm besides this one!
