Our previous CPA, after accepting us as clients, abandoned us and left us scrambling to find a new resource. “I can’t help you,” he said and provided no explanation or apology. With a deadline hanging over our heads, we became desperate. We are very glad and grateful to have found Rick Sager and his team. His experience handling taxes for various clients – each with complex and diverse situations – gave us great confidence. He and his team went through all our paperwork like a knife through butter, and calculated our taxes without any issues. Our experience has been worry-free, and we will be loyal clients for years to come.

Extremely happy that we found Rick Sager and his firm. They are very professional, very thorough and provide enormous value to us as a small business. They become very involved and familiar with your particular situation/business and help you understand all the tax advantages that apply to you. There is so much more value with them than just getting your taxes filed. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I just obtained Rick's services for my small business and our personal taxes - complex as it stretches over 2 states. (I had a dreadful experience with our previous CPA, who came highly recommended, but dropped us, no explanations, mid-tax season on a Sunday afternoon via email. Not kidding!) Enters: Rick. I only spoke with Rick this morning - I called 4 tax preparers and needed a quick response: only 2 even called back. Rick was the ONLY one who spoke to me with a professional and caring tone. I was in a panic and he was so reassuring. I will update this review as per our working relationship moving forward, but just from how fast he responded, how quickly he got on the urgent matters I needed to address and how professional he treated me (other guy took 7 days to just answer a simple email), I am very reassured. Thanks Rick!

I've been in business for 7 years. I've never had a cpa like Rick. He's amazing. So knowledgeable and helpful I've learned more about taxes in the last 2 years than I had in 5 with my prior cpa. You won't find someone more knowledgeable and passionate about taxes and small business than Rick ❤

Services paid for: individual federal and state income tax Cost: greater than $420 Comments: Myself along with my family have been regular customers to Sagar CPA since their early beginnings and were generally pleased with the services we paid for. In years past, tax preparation fees came out to $300 total (for two separate tax filings or $150 per person). Things seem to have changed in a negative direction for my most recent filing. No tax preparation fees were ever discussed (mostly my fault as I assumed a similar pricing to previous years) rather, the large fee was simply presented after the fact. Tax documents were submitted in March 2022, with tax documents being finalized in October 2022 (7 month waiting period). While Sagar CPA and Advisors are thorough, the high tax preparation fee isn't worth the services provided. I would advise anyone considering this office to be very upfront in asking exactly how much your tax preparation fee will be, prior to having them prepare your taxes.
