What a wonderful experience during a stressful time! I would rate this as my top hospital experience as a visitor/support member. From the time we were greeted thru the pre-surgery, surgery, post-surgery and beyond to discharge, there was NOTHING I could say except...PHENOMENAL! Your staff members are all top notch, the nurses and folks in pre-surgery and Floor 5000 were all above-and-beyond! The communications and updates were constant and that whole process impressive. Thank you for making this experience a warm, positive memory when it could have been so bad. KUDOS to your whole team!
The fastest testing answers I've ever seen. Most times you get results before the doctor comes in and that allows you to ask good questions. As with any hospital it is always best to have an advocate with you. We have had exceptional nursing and physician care, but there are always the handful you need to keep an eye on or refuse care from. If you do have an issue they do listen and take care of that to make your stay as good as it can be. My brother in law was on the hospital for his birthday and he has special needs. They brought him a balloon and card and the nurses sang to him and the kitchen sent up a small bunt cake. They all wished him a happy birthday and that helped to make his birthday something special.
Top notch care!!! Can’t say enough about the staff over all but the nurses working my floor post op were amazing. Kylie, Jess, Ashley and Alex. They are the best. Their care, concern and professionalism are truly humbling to me. I’ve never been treated so well. The nurses on the oncology floor are so gifted and just bring joy to everyone. My nurses are the best!!! Truly amazing!!!
I have three stars because I did receive great patient care towards the beginning of my admission. Towards the end of my stay 3 nurses and a patient case manager made it difficult to continue my care.I was not treated well by the three nurses towards the end of my stay and at the time I wasn't making any sense. My pain meds were not given. I had pain liver. If I moved it went through the roof.. when asked about my pain level it was about a 8-9 I read the three nurses chart in my file lol let's just say I wasn't seeking pain meds. Just because I wasn't screaming or crying.. I was left unattended every time I pushed the call light to use the restroom. I was a fall risk. No compassion what's so ever. Case manager threatening me with DSS... Lucky my daughter was on video and heard the whole conversation. He left my room quick. My discharge nurse was amazing and the weekend nurses were amazing. My Dr took great care of my condition. But those three nurses and Patient Case worker need not be in this field of work.
Singing this hospital's praises!!! My sister became extremely ill fast and had to be rushed to the hospital. The doctors immediately diagnosed her and started her treatment. The care and fast action to her diagnosis we received felt like an angel above was watching over us. I've never felt so much trust in a doctor before. We just recently lost our mother and also thought I'd be losing my sister as well. Thank you to the nurses and doctors who took magnificent care over my sister. She is on the mend and I couldn't sing this hospital's praises more!
