As parents we could see the pain that our son endured starting the divorce process. Then Heather from Sekella Law took him under her wing. She compassionately listened and understood where he was coming from. Then she went to work. She ferociously fought for our son with a passion. Her brilliant mind worked quickly and efficiently to get the results we were hoping for. In court at the temporary hearing Heather did an amazing job unveiling the truth to the judge. Later she negotiated a final settlement that both parties agreed to avoiding an expensive final court hearing. Our son can now enjoy starting his new life with his children. Heather had nothing but my best interest in mind. Every conversation or email was very descriptive and informative of the steps we should and should not take to ensure the process was moving in my favor. She dug further into disclosing financial matters regarding a pension that was not being fully forthcoming and in the end we were able to finalize exactly how I wanted. I hired Sekella Law to help me navigate a very difficult divorce, and I ended up working with Taylor Morgan. I can't say enough about my experience with her, albeit the difficult process it was, she made it as easy as possible. She was knowledgeable about the timelines, process, and laws that my particular case was dealing with. And if she didn't have the answer right away- she went above and beyond to find the answer with the resources and connections she had. I cannot overstate how glad I am to have had Sekella Law represent me. Going through a divorce (especially with children involved) is a very stressful and disheartening experience. Just keeping yourself together day to day is difficult. Heather was wonderful, not just from a legal standpoint but from a personal standpoint as well. She really knows her stuff. She spotted nuances in proposed divorce documents that most attorneys would not have caught. Those nuances would have limited my time with my children. She knew what I wanted and she fought tirelessly for me. When something urgent came up that I needed to inform her about even if it was on the weekend, she would get back to me immediately. As great as her skill and dedication is, her personal touch really sets her apart. Heather was always there to listen, explain and encourage.
