Shaftel Law is the best if you are going for immigration visa/residency needs. Matt is very knowledgeable, friendly, and is diligent with all the processes and updates happening throughout your application. Related to his communication style, he’s straightforward to work with and I usually receive responses within 24 hours if not instantly, which is quite impressive given the amount of work he puts in for all of his clients. If you are trying to navigate a fairly complicated immigration system, he’s the first person you should contact and schedule your appointment with him. Matt and Alondra will work closely with you at every step of the process which is really important as the information gathering and your documentation is very very intense. We talked to 8 different lawyers. High powered legal firms in NY and San Francisco, law firms with multiple offices in different countries, and more. Matthew was by far the most caring, most investigative, and genuinely human lawyer we spoke with at our consultation. He really took the time to understand our situation, double check himself where he felt necessary, and was very open to all ideas and suggestions from us.
