I reached out to Lauren at Shaheen & Gordon back in May, and from the very beginning she handled my case with a high level of professionalism, clarity, and care. She was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always keeping me informed and making sure I understood each step along the way. Lauren coordinated everything seamlessly and ensured that nothing fell through the cracks, which gave me a great deal of confidence and peace of mind. This post is in recognition of a "Job Well Done" by the Shaheen and Gordon Law firm. I happened upon their website a couple months ago. With the internet inquiry to a member James Callahan handling Real Estate as my case involves such -James set up a meeting promptly. He designed a plan to resolve that an earlier firm I had retained with no end in sight- was totally lacking in Clarity . My case involved a Bank-the USA Treasury-the State of NH Knowing my budget and the Empathy I had towards a family member, James reached out to the other family member of my case with no response " Ghosting". James diligently discussed and teamed with Emma Sista for the litigation that was in his plan design-if and as needed. Emma picked up the case and we had 2 phone calls. I had read on the web site of her past accomplishments along with positions within our community. That spelt out to me Emma knows what it takes and how to end this family land dispute that had heated up after 7 years. Exactly. It was a Blessing-after 2 weeks-Emma told me the docs she had prepared for signing were signed and taped to other sides door-I was able to pick them up-bring to her Concord office for my signing. Then on to the Secretary of State for recording. MAGIC-That is the expression I had-and express here again--MAGIC- I did not have to converse any longer-with the other side-just forgive and positively move on. Emma and James definitely have the experience for successful endings. I know after 40 years owning a business that Shaheen and Gordon exercise a level of standards within the firm that will attract those in need of reasonable solutions with Clarity between their members of the firm and clients. It has been over a week since-Emma had taken my info and ended the emotional negativity some how, Very Logically! Just as our New England seasons change-so has my mind set!- Mucho Thanks-!!

Earlier this year I found myself needing legal assistance. I have to say that right from my initial consultation and throughout the entire process that Jim and Katherine were amazing.I unfortunately had another time that I needed legal assistance from a DIFFERENT ATTORNEY OFFICE. And the two experiences were night and day. I did not even get to meet my first attorney until my court date. But I got to meet Jim and Katherine within days of my initial phone call. They made me feel very comfortable right from the beginning they both reassured me that this was not the end of my life. Even though at the time it felt like it.I was updated by them throughout the whole process. Which also was a huge difference from my other experience WITH A DIFFERENT ATTORNEY OFFICE. I would highly recommend Jim and Katherine to anyone needing legal help.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt this was warranted. I reached out to Shaheen & Gordon for legal support on a business matter. While I’m sure the attorneys here are helpful once you're working with them, the intake process left me feeling dehumanized and dismissed. The initial call felt more like an interrogation than a conversation. The intake person typed while I spoke, rarely responded, and I was told I’d hear back in a few days. Four days later, I received a generic email saying they couldn’t help—with no context, no explanation, and no personal touch. I called to follow up, hoping for clarity. The receptionist refused to give her name but asked for mine and my address. I was transferred to another intake rep, who simply read the same canned message I’d already received. When I tried to express that I didn’t feel seen or heard, he read my original intake summary back to me and reiterated the firm couldn’t help. That was it. I understand that not every firm can take every case. But the process left me feeling like a number—not a person. Please do better for the people reaching out to you. Even a simple moment of acknowledgment would have gone a long way.

Joe Cherniske is probably the best lawyer in all of New Hampshire. His performance, and the results he's able to get, are beyond expectation to say the least. I give him the highest recommendation possible.
