I hired Simikovsky Law Firm in Columbus, Ohio for an immigration case and paid their fee. At one of the worst times of my life, I relied on them, but they kept saying they were ‘working on it’—and after a year, nothing was accomplished. They kept promising it could be done, but my case never moved forward, and I lost a year waiting on them. Later, a non-profit organization completed the same work in just two months. In my experience, this firm seems to care more about collecting fees than helping clients. I wouldn’t wish anyone—even my worst enemy—to experience working with them. If you represent yourself, you may do a better job, and even ICE agents might be more empathetic. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend hiring another law firm for immigration matters.
