I can’t say enough good things about Miguel and everything he did for me throughout my custody case. When I first spoke with Miguel, he was honest with me from the very beginning. What I wanted was 50/50 custody of my son, and he explained that it wasn’t going to be easy because my son had always primarily lived with his mother and we were never married. During our first phone consultation, Miguel spent about 45 minutes going over my entire situation with me. At first, he even told me that I didn’t necessarily need to hire him because I already had about one-third of the parenting time. That showed me right away that he wasn’t just looking to take my money. He genuinely took the time to understand my situation and was honest about where I stood and what I could realistically expect. I knew what I wanted, though, and I wanted to fight for equal time with my son. Miguel was willing to go the extra mile and take that fight on with me. After more than a year of fighting, we were able to accomplish exactly what I set out to do. I was awarded 50/50 parenting time, legal custody, and sole custody of my son. As a father, there’s no way to put into words what that means to me. Miguel was honest, realistic, and dedicated throughout the entire process. He never made promises he couldn’t keep, but he fought hard to help me achieve the outcome I wanted.
