Ma Lyn at SCLLR residential builder department is awesome! I was put into a tight situation with no notice and Ma Lyn was more than happy to help me get my license back up to date so I could take a 2nd attempt at running a small business down here in MB, SC. Submitted a license transfer request April 2nd. It's now May and the state I'm in is asking that I submit an affidavit for 50 dollars because you guys never did your job and transferred the information. I'd like you to either get the job done or refund me my money. I mean how hard can that be. Insane. Ive called 3 times to remind and confirm and somehow they still don't have my paper work even after you said it was sent. I don't get it.

It has gotten much nicer and more secure, but it's a pity the guest wifi has gotten worse. Don't get me wrong, this is a soul-sucking governmental arm that is bureaucratic to a fault. All of that being said though, it does have many great people animating this cadaver to an astonishing degree.

This place is an absolute joke! The absolute incompetence in the residential builders board and inspectors are unreal. Hire people who actually know construction. If you require a license then have employees licensed who knows what they are talking about instead of just trying to fine people!
