I contacted this Law Firm to handle a personal matter and I was told there would be a $3,000 retainer fee which I agreed to. Issue #1, for over a month I never heard from the attorney handling my case. I would have to call for updates as I was left out of the loop as to how the case was progressing. I received a call from Courtney advising me she was trying to obtain some documents that were needed pertaining to my case. Shel had me on a three way call and was never able to obtain the documents. She called me and wanted me to try to get the documents after I gave them the retainer fee. I thought this is why I hired them, I didn’t know I was going to have to do there work that they were paid to do. They were sending emails to different email accounts and this is after I called to verify my correct email. I finally had enough when they sent me an invoice for over $500.00 that they claimed I had to replenish my retainer account. I called Courtney and advised her where were they on my case? It’s been over a month and I have yet to hear from the attorney I hired. She stated she was working on a letter to send to the institution I was having an issue with and then she told me she submitted the letter to the attorney but claimed he wanted her to restructure it and add some more details. I could see where this was going and it just seemed they were dragging their feet and nickle and dime for every and any thing. I advised Courtney I was very dissatisfied with the Law Firm and lack of communication on their side. I advised her to terminate my contract with them. The last invoice I received was for the $523.00 they wanted me to replenish so they took it out of my retainer account. I had no issue with that but they took an additional $600 plus out also for “Other so called fees”. Ironically these fees appeared right after I terminated my contact. I feel they still owe me that $600 plus back! If you want a Law Firm to keep you abreast of your case, they sure let me down. I don’t feel I have to call to get information on what’s going on, what’s your plan and how are we going to approach this case. I made a huge mistake not looking and doing my research for attorneys because this one failed!!

We had an excellent experience with Sylvia assisting us probating our loved one's Estate.
