I wanted to express how deeply disappointed and frustrated we were after today’s consultation. We paid $200 expecting actual legal guidance regarding our parenting time modification case. Instead, the conversation (27 mins) felt almost entirely focused on selling representation rather than providing meaningful legal advice or insight into our situation. Very little was discussed that we did not already know ourselves. What was especially upsetting was that the retainer amount was not disclosed until the end of the consultation. After spending most of the call discussing hiring your office, we were then told the retainer would be $8,500 total with $4,200 due up front. When we explained that we simply could not afford that amount, the response we received was to “not look at it as a retainer, but as an investment in a future with your child.” That comment honestly felt incredibly insensitive and manipulative. My husband has already spent years emotionally struggling with limited contact with his son, and hearing his relationship with his child framed in a way that felt tied to whether we could afford your services was deeply upsetting. It came across less like compassion and more like guilt or pressure to somehow come up with money we explicitly said we do not have. To make matters worse, once we stated we could not afford the retainer, the call was abruptly wrapped up with essentially “ well, I’ll text you tomorrow and let you guys discuss things” when we already told her we could not afford your services.After paying for a consultation, we expected at minimum some level of genuine legal direction, strategy, or case-specific guidance regardless of whether we retained your office. However, this consultation left us feeling discouraged, dismissed, and as though we paid for a sales pitch rather than professional legal guidance. Very disappointing.

In my opinion, I would not recommend hiring Dieidra or her law associates if you need an attorney to litigate on your behalf! Her strategy for my case consisted of filing motion after motion, but there was little willingness to firmly advocate when I believed the court was not following the law. While I understand the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect in the courtroom, an attorney also has a duty to zealously advocate for their client within the bounds of the law. When I asked her to actively advocate on my behalf, she declined and instead continued filing numerous motions and issuing subpoenas. Over the course of my case, only one motion was granted, and none of the agencies served with subpoenas responded during her representation. My child support case remained unresolved for more than a year and cost me approximately $15,000 in legal fees. Frustrated with the ongoing litigation, repeated motions, and mounting costs without meaningful progress, I ultimately terminated her representation. After researching the Indiana Code and Indiana Trial Court Rules on my own, I filed my own motions and was eventually able to reach an agreement with the respondent. As of the time of this review, I am still waiting for the respondent's employer and bank to respond to the subpoenas that were issued during her representation.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I worked with Erin Bradshaw regarding a custody case involving my 11-year-old second cousin after her mother—my first cousin—passed away. This was an extremely emotional and difficult situation for our family. On her mother’s side, both grandparents are deceased, and she has only one living uncle. Her father had been absent since she was around 4 years old, and at that time she expressed feeling uncomfortable going with him. Our family stepped in because we were the only support system she had known. Throughout this process, I repeatedly felt that Erin was not prepared and did not have a clear understanding of the facts of our case. I often had to retell important details, and even close to court she continued referring to me as “the aunt” rather than understanding my actual relationship to the child. She also repeatedly referred to the opposing party by the wrong name, calling him “Lance” when his name is Larry. Most of our communication involved me finding updates myself online—such as cancelled hearings, judge changes, and case developments—and then informing her. I felt more like I was managing my own case than being represented by an attorney. We did not receive a meaningful court date until 4/20/26. Additionally, Leilani’s GAL report was never completed, which did not help our side in court. Erin requested an additional $3,700 for that court appearance, which ultimately resulted in an unfavorable outcome. At this point I have paid approximately $7,700 and still struggle to understand where that money went. Communication was primarily through text messages, and I later learned texts were billed at $35 each. I also disagree with the billing practices and felt invoices appeared inflated. It is difficult to understand how costs exceeded $10,000 when communication was limited, paperwork was filed, there was one court appearance, and the case ended after that loss. I understand Indiana often favors biological parents in custody matters, and our family knew obtaining custody would be difficult. However, we had hoped for visitation because we have not seen or spoken to Leilani since January. Our side of the family is all she has known, and losing contact during a time of grief has been heartbreaking. This entire experience left me feeling unsupported, unheard, and deeply disappointed. Especially since Erin felt so confident and was sure she had a case. If I didn’t google her I would think it were A SCAM!!!!!

A Client Experience Prospective Clients Should Know About I’m writing this because our experience with this office was incredibly disappointing and, ultimately, heartbreaking. The father in this case spent over $15,000 on attorneys, court fees, and related expenses. Yet throughout the case, we repeatedly struggled to get clear guidance, communication, and accountability. During mediation, Boone appeared to be playing video games on Zoom and afterward seemed unaware of important details that had occurred. Discovery was another ongoing issue—we were told to complete everything but received little guidance, only to later be told answers were wrong and needed correction. Multiple requests to speak with someone else were ignored or denied. After roughly $10,000 had already been paid, he was asked for more money for representation at the final hearing. When he began asking questions about his billing and where his money had gone, the firm ultimately withdrew before that hearing. The itemized bill raised even more concerns. We saw $35 charges for individual texts, including simple responses such as “yes,” along with phone charges we questioned based on the actual time spent communicating. We genuinely tried to resolve these concerns. Deidra, who handled the initial consultation, made a great impression and gave us confidence that this office would fight for fathers’ rights. I sincerely hope she was unaware of what happened afterward. What hurts most is that the father needed representation for the final hearing and had paid thousands expecting to have someone advocate for him. Instead, he had to face the final outcome without the representation he believed he had paid for. I’m a mother myself, and watching a father who loves his children become defeated while simply fighting to maintain a relationship with them was heartbreaking. No attorney can guarantee a particular outcome. But clients deserve communication, preparation, accountability, and representation when it matters most. These cases aren’t just paperwork or billing statements. There are parents and children living with the consequences. I hope this office takes that seriously, because in our experience, the cost wasn’t just $15,000+. It was time, trust, opportunity, and a father’s relationship with his children. He even tried setting up just a phone call with Deidra to see if she could further explain and answer his unanswered questions. Multiple times. Never received it.
