Mendoza Immigration: Feels Like an Organized Scam Our experience with Mendoza Immigration has raised serious concerns. From the beginning, things didn’t feel right. Our first encounter was with a young woman who collected some basic information and set up an appointment. The next day, we spoke with a man named Mr. Jonathan, who conducted what he called an “interview.” He asked basic questions: our names, address, phone number, how long my husband had been in the U.S., how many children he has — but showed no interest in full names or more detailed immigration history. We provided our personal information, thinking this was a step in a legal process. He then scheduled us for another appointment — at 10 PM, which seemed unusual and unprofessional. At that second meeting, instead of advancing our case or connecting us with an attorney, Mr. Jonathan just repeated what we had already discussed. But this time, he focused almost entirely on money. He claimed the attorney was offering us a “great deal” with coupons and discounts, then tried to pressure us into signing up for a payment plan. We became suspicious and asked to speak directly with Maria Mendoza, the supposed attorney. We were told repeatedly that she was “busy.” I then attempted to look up Maria Mendoza’s Florida Bar number and couldn’t find anything — not through the Florida Bar’s official site, nor anywhere online. This man wore a shirt with the Mendoza logo and had a branded sign in the background during our video call, giving the appearance of legitimacy. But everything about the interaction — the vague legal process, lack of access to an actual attorney, pressure to pay, and absence of bar credentials — points to something deeply wrong. This is a warning to anyone considering Mendoza Immigration: do your research and ask for the attorney’s Florida Bar number. Don’t hand over money or personal information without confirming you’re dealing with a licensed and reputable legal professional.

Stay away from this "law firm"! Their communication is terrible. Every time you call, your only option is to speak with customer service. I had many questions, and they always said they would pass them along to the appropriate department. I began to feel concerned right from the start. We made a significant initial payment, but they did nothing in return. Thankfully, my gut feeling prompted me to look elsewhere. They sent me a "welcome package" with "important" information and they sent it with another client's name!! I called several times in a period of almost 2 weeks to talk to the “agent” that was in charge of my documentation and NEVER once she called me back, due to a very delicate and important matter I decided to cancel my process with them, Unbelievable... I requested a refund within less than a month, warning them that I would leave a negative review on every platform if I didn't receive my money back. One of the staff members assured me that there was no need to do that and that I would get my money back. I even left a comment on one of their Instagram posts, only to have it deleted within minutes by them. Please find a trustworthy immigration lawyer who won't take advantage of your vulnerable situation. This lawyer, Maria, seems more focused on her Instagram posts to project an image of caring, when in reality, she doesn't. Her team is unprofessional. They lack professionalism. I am in the process of getting my money refunded, thank goodness! I ended up doing all the work myself while they provided nothing but false hope. I can not tell you the amount of stress their lack of communication put on me. It's disgusting that they exploit our community in this way. Please find a lawyer that doesn't take people’s cases just to take them but don't have the legal expertise to really care for you and your case.

I called to try an get a consultation....I'm on the phone for about 1 hour.....during this time the guy "Carlos" was first trying to take $200 off the bat.....NEVER did he reply about a consultation, he just kept the conversation longer trying to sweet talk me into paying....before I hung up on him he had dropped the $200 fee to $100 (for today only). Now my phone is getting bombarded on a daily basis by this firm. I block one number and the firm calls back on different numbers....Mendoza Firm STOP spamming people.....

We have been with them for 8 years and.m nothing has been resolved! We keep getting new reps every month and they are always lost. They say they’ll call us backs and they do not! We have already paid them and are just waiting for the work permit that we sent to renew 8 months in advance and they don’t have an idea when it will renew! They promised her her residence so many times, they don’t give updates and they get upset for asking! Very unprofessional, rude, but most of all disappointed by their false promises.
