How to even begin praising this firm for an absolutely stellar staff, but most notably Laken Wise. Although Laken had not been practicing for decades like other family law attorneys, I would not have known this had she not told me after seeing her in motion. Her understanding of procedure, her cadence, and overall posture in a courtroom would be enough to fool the most seasoned critic. She put her entire energy reserve into ensuring that i would have the best outcome for my personal circumstance. The family court system is not about winning, it's about reaching a resolution that reflects the best interest of the children. Laken knows this. She is not going to seek blood, she is going to apply her expertise to your case and take the most reasonable path towards resolution. She is not going to fill your head with unrealistic expectations, or fantasy outcomes, she is going to create a level and concise plan to achieve the resolution that makes sense. Make no mistake, this girl is made of steel, but she does not need to show her fangs to be effective. Her superpower is staying calm and reserved, while the opposition falls back on primitive intimidation tactics. She stood her ground on my behalf and I'm grateful to have been referred to her by another well-respected local attorney. I will continue to refer anyone in need directly to Laken and I know I can feel good about sending my personal circle to someone that I know will treat them right, talk straight, and guide them through every phase of a seemingly endless maze of hearings, motions, and negotiations.
