Do not do business here, these people have stolen a great deal of billable hours without any explanation on where they went. Then fired the attorney, letting me know that they won't or shouldn't be reaching out to me. Get a new attorney assigned who seems to be doing what he's supposed to, claimed due to the previous attorney, that he'd only ask i pay 1k more, on top of the previous 14k. Mind you this is a simple divorce case, no custody, and NOW they're harassing me for an "outstanding balance" of nearly 3k. It does NOT cost 4k for the final leg of paperwork. I've HAD IT. If you hand them money, you might as well go to the bar association bc that's my next stop.

If you’re looking for an attorney who respects your privacy, communicates clearly, and operates with integrity—look elsewhere. Not only does this attorney charge 2.5x the average rate in the area, but the office is poorly managed and careless with sensitive client information. The most serious issue I experienced: my entire mental health and medical records were mistakenly faxed to the opposing party—a party the court had already ruled would not have access to those records. Despite that, the documents were sent anyway. It took twelve hours for the office to even realize the mistake, and to this day, I have never received confirmation that my records were retrieved or destroyed. They initially blamed the facility, but after further investigation, it was clear the error originated from her office—a mistake that could have easily been avoided with proper procedures and attention to detail. There was no accountability, no real apology, and no effort to take responsibility. This was not just a clerical error—it was a complete failure in client confidentiality and professional duty. I’ve taken time to reflect on this and spoken to other attorneys to ensure I wasn’t reacting emotionally, and everyone agrees: this kind of breach is indefensible. I have submitted a formal complaint with the AGC but in the meantime, the least I can do is share my experience to help prevent this type of misconduct from happening to another vulnerable client. Do not trust this attorney with your case or your personal information. There are plenty of professionals who charge fairly and operate with the care and ethics every client deserves.

I can't say enough positive things about this firm during my divorce proceedings. This was a very scary process for me based on my circumstances, and I always felt they were there for me from the start! Wendy Hernandez and Katie Short were my contacts during the process, and they always had quick responses whenever I had questions or concerns. Never did I have to wait for a response. Debra Whitson, who was my lawyer that represented me in court was so professional and she was prepared for the judge. She is a classy lady on top of that!
