Do not use Roberta Winchell for estate planning. My father paid her to get his estate in order, and passed away 6 months later. Roberta assured him that all his paperwork was in order, and assets were to be split in 1/3 between his two children and his current wife. When he passed, we found out that she didn’t update any paperwork, and whatever document that was signed in her office that stated the estate would be split in 3 ways disappeared. When she was contacted about this document, she refused to speak to beneficiaries, and stated she gave all paperwork to the executor and saved no copies. Do not trust her with your finances or with your family’s assets.

Roberta is an advocate for her clients both inside and outside of the courtroom. She is very understanding caring and compassionate to her clients. She is also a straight and honest which is admirable. I would recommend her services to anyone. We have used her services over the years.

Roberta Winchell is an unethical lawyer. When assigned to my grandmother’s estate as executor, she has simply not done her job. She continues to bill the estate for doing apparently nothing. She also refuses to speak with beneficiaries of the estate. There has been no movement with the estate for over a year.

Roberta took my 80 year old mother who has a degenerative brain disorder for over 10k...nice legacy you're leaving here lady. Barry Cohen referred her so stay away from him and the law firm he works at as well.

Do NOT HIRE she WILL lose your money, she SUCKS at wills and estates. My family lost 2/3rds of their inheritance because she can't even write a simple will correctly. She avoided talking to the beneficiaries and when asked about the will she played stupid.....but it may not be an act. Find someone else.
