Kayte Geist was recommended to me by a prominent local attorney due to her tenacity and skill. I appreciated how thoroughly she answered my questions before I engaged her services. She’s sharp and operates with class while simultaneously being completely down to earth. She represented me in a child custody modification settled in mediation. Kayte was efficient, precise, and advocated for me. She may not have the decades of experience as some other local attorneys, but it certainly doesn’t show considering she can run circles around the big dogs (literally and figuratively). Attorneys and staff at Barrett McNagny make me feel welcome when I walk into their offices, always patient and courteous, efficient yet unhurried. When my previous attorney at another firm retired, my late husband and I requested that our estate documents be transferred to Phil Wagler at Barrett McNagny, and we could not have been more pleased. Phil was thorough, knowledgeable, and sensitive; he understood our situation and cirumstances and helped us explore a range of possible scenarios, some of which we had not even considered. I never felt that Phil was trying to sway me one way or another. During the estate revision and preparation process, Phil introduced us to Carta Robinson, an attorney who had recently joined the firm and would be working alongside Phil in the area of estate planning. Like Phil, Carta took time to get to know us and our particular circumstances and concerns, helping us understand various possible consequences of language we might include or omit. I highly recommend the services of Lauren Minke. Lauren is very proficient in navigating and translating the intricacies of law. She is honest and forthright about potential challenges your case may face, yet still courageously willing to advocate for you where just and reasonable.
