It was a pleasure to work with Mark Carey and Chris Avcollie at Carey & Associates. Since the Westport Woman’s Club needed an official Employee Handbook as soon as possible, our project was assigned to Mark’s associate, Chris Avcollie. Chris was extremely helpful and diligent in reviewing and updating the draft we provided. All conference calls were brief and focused, accompanied by written comments provided by Chris. Having worked in the legal industry and Human Resources for many years, I was very impressed with how quickly we received comments and a final version. Mark and his team have been of incredible assistance to me over the past 9 months. They have been instrumental in negotiating a fair exit with my previous employer and helped in effectively navigating my Long Term Disability Claim. I don't know how I would have gotten to where I am with the claim without Mark's expertise, guidance and incredible advocacy. Mark worked with the bureaucracy and resistance of the insurance company with favorable results to date while keeping me sane during the process.
