I was referred to Cody Allison & Associates regarding a short-term disability claim denial and potential appeal. Ultimately, I worked directly with the insurance company through an addendum review process by submitting additional documentation from multiple physicians. The insurance company reversed course, backdated, and approved my claim — so I did not proceed with a formal appeal or lawsuit. That said, throughout the entire process, Richard H. was incredibly empathetic, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. He conducted a thorough consultation, followed up multiple times, and provided clear, actionable guidance at each step. He essentially gave me several in-depth consultations at no cost, which helped me better understand my options and navigate the process confidently. I would absolutely encourage anyone experiencing issues with STD or LTD claims to reach out to their office. They are clearly experienced, trustworthy, and thorough.

After suffereing a stroke, I was recently denied Short and Long Term disability after paying into the system and working for almost 50 years.
