I had a scheduled consultation 11-4-2025 that cost me $275.00. I met with M. Karsten or Karstens. She conducted well and came to the conclusion that the firm would represent me. After days of leaving me in limbo, waiting to be contacted I contacted them. The firm wanted a retainer of $25,000 to handle an appeal in probate. I was short of the retainer by $584.13. The money was guaranteed. Cole Law declined to handle my case even after I asked to pay the rest piece by piece. It showed that my punctuality, professionalism and paying for the consultation mattered none. I feel that the firm is inconsiderate. I am a person that found multiple oversights in my case, I am a person that explained the nature of my case vividly. The firm did not care and stopped communicating with me via email once I requested to pay in increments. Do Not obtain this firm!!! They are Not for the community!!!

Alyssa Castronovo was my Family Law Attorney. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and I felt very well taken care of and represented. Cole Law Group has it together! very efficient with billing, very responsive when you reach out to them, their customer portal is great, and keeping you updated on things going on.

Long story short: After $950, 3 consultations, and about a month of time they accepted the case but when we asked basic questions before committing to a $5000 retainer it was spontaneously dropped. Anyone from Cole Law want to reach out for a partial refund or ask me any questions feel free to. Best wishes. Edit for response: I payed for 3 total, feel free to look as to why. And our case was accepted initially, I have an email that shows it and the response after we asked for clarification on basic things like a timeline and what the strategy was. To clarify, you're either misinformed or lying about our case not being accepted. As said previously, I would be happy to supply the email and the request for a $5000 retainer. Your pay structure was communicated and isn't the issue. The previous and current unprofessionalism is. Unless the discussion includes a partial refund or some kind of resolution, it doesn't seem necessary to waste everyone's time. Thanks.
