Reviews
I worked with Allison Baker as the opposing party during divorce proceedings. It may seem strange to be writing a positive review in this circumstance, but it’s fully warranted in this case. Allison was a clear, detailed, and friendly communicator who was nothing short of a consummate professional throughout the process. She was thorough in her requests and explanations re documentation, answered questions in a timely and respectful manner, and was also unusually kind and human in her approach to the work. I would gladly and highly recommend her and her team if you’re looking for competence, professionalism, and humanity in your divorce process.
Everyone that I spoke to in the office was calm and polite. Which made me calm! Even the Judge completed Joe Cash on how well he was organized and prepared for the finally hearing! My divorce was so smooth and help me though my tragic experience of having my divorce!
Hannah Clark mediated my divorce and drafted my divorce documents and Parenting Plan in November 2024 (over five hours of mediation). Since then, I’ve incurred significant attorney fees and spent extensive time trying to correct issues that, in my view, should have been handled accurately at the drafting stage - particularly the parenting-time provisions and the child support worksheet. I agreed to temporarily less than 50/50 parenting time because the children remained in the marital home, with the understanding my time would increase later. However, the Parenting Plan did not include an enforceable step-up schedule or objective triggers; it only said we would “discuss” an increase months later. That has effectively pushed me into litigation and added cost when the other parent does not agree. My current attorney also identified significant child support worksheet issues, including treatment of VA disability compensation and spousal maintenance, and I believe I’ve been overpaying child support by about $478 per month while paying legal fees to pursue correction. I’m sharing this so others proceed cautiously: insist on enforceable parenting-time terms (not “we will discuss later”) and independently verify all child support inputs and assumptions before signing.
Joe Cash handled my divorce exceptionally well. He and his team were very straightforward about the possible outcomes and always seemed to be one step ahead in planning our strategy. The paralegal staff was also courteous and prompt in their responses, which made the whole stressful process much more bearable. I am profoundly grateful for their services.
I can’t say enough about my experience working with Joe Cash and team. He has been steady, professional, and sharp throughout this incredibly difficult case. Joe not only knows the law inside and out, but he also applies it strategically — cutting through unnecessary drama and focusing on what actually matters to the judge. He’s responsive, clear in his communication, and never sugarcoats. What I’ve appreciated most is that Joe is both compassionate and tough, he understands the personal toll of litigation while making sure the other side can’t get away with games or intimidation. If you want an attorney who is respected in the courtroom, strategic in approach, and who will fight smart (not just loud), Joe is the one you want on your side. I am eternally grateful for all he has done.
